That's it!! For some reason when I try to search the forum it always crashes I'm trying to get my pic up now. I'm glad you like the necklaces! I really wasn't sure what pictures you would like so I tried several (which is why I have to become an Owen Pallet fan now! . I had a Lupercalia one that I should have sent. If you have an extra copy of Lemuralia that would be great!! That's the one thing (besides the Patrick Wolf EP) that I figured I would have trouble finding. Right now I am waiting on packages from Sandbag, Discogs and from Damien. I'm hoping they all make it here safely (and soon!).

your waiting for packages reminds me i'm also still waiting for a play.com marketplace random order. and my s&r vinyl of course. i've been to 4 german shows and the london one for the sundark & riverlight tour. and i was at the lovebox festival, but that was earlier this year i have actually finished one report, but i haven't proof-read it yet, so no posting yet. i'm also more or less on my way again, for visiting friends in the netherlands and conveniently catching patricks 2 shows there i'll keep you updated with the eps 'n stuff if i can

Well packages from sandbag generally take 5 or 6 days to arrive for me after they're dispatched, so i hate to think how long they'd take to get to America! Hope you both get all your packages soon Haha we'll need to see if my boxset ever actually turns up first! Sandbag didn't seem to have a clue when they'd be getting them in. But yeah i'll send you it when it eventually gets here Haha if i was going to see Owen Pallett any time soon i'd be so tempted to give him the spare copy of Lupercalia - i remember him saying on twitter a while ago that he still hadn't heard it yet but he loved The Bachelor! And Patrick was telling us all to listen to Heartland, hahaha Wow, wish i could go to as many shows as you Niwo! When i've graduated and have lots of money and can choose my holidays that's what i'll do I'm ridiculously excited about the Glasgow show, i feel like this entire year is leading up to that night... it would probably be a lot better for my sanity if i could make more than one show on this tour because i feel like i'm relying on this show far too much, like it's my one chance to experience this entire era, so it may well trigger all my crazy anxiety issues again (I sometimes get ridiculously nervous when i know i'm going to be that excited/emotional - i nearly had a panic attack before he came on stage at Beacons when he'd said he'd play one of my 3 favourite songs for me, because i'd been dreaming about it for such a long time (although he never actually did play them)... What is wrong with me?! )

Haha, that is true! I'll just have to try and find a balance between earning enough money to go to lots of gigs and being allowed enough time off

I started typing my big long story last night but i ran out of time and then i accidentally closed the window + lost it... and my plan for tonight was lab reports then gig story, but i've accidentally spent the entire night on twitter (blame that on the person who bought all the front row London tickets to sell for profit on ebay!!!)... but i will write it soon!!! As soon as i've got a lab report done I said most of it on twitter anyway i think.

oh lord, coventry was so funny also!!! they sorta had forgotten to put the seats for the first 3 rows into the venue XD but we didn't realise in the beginning because we thought it was just funny typing that some of our tickets had rows AA or BB or CC printed on them, others only had A or B or C. and it was odd that there was this little platform right in front of the stage, but what do i know about art centres? but they had actually forgotten, so they quickly put the extra seats in after doors XD that wasn't just putting up some chairs, nooooooo! the platform went down into an under-stage basement (or whatever you call it) and they put the carpet boards on and then the theatre seats that had to be bolted to the ground. all that while venue staff had to guard that giant hole in the ground so nobody would hurt themselves. and patrick played mercia for us! he asked if we had a wish and half the audience screamed for it. then patrick got a little awkward and apologetic for most likely screwing it up a bit because he had never played it live. audience assured him it didn't matter it was a magical set, i cannot believe he did that whilst having a fever!!!!!!!

The Coventry seat thing was one of the funniest and most random things I think I've seen in a venue - having your seats built in front of you is a bit mad!
Tonight was a bit odd in that it was literally in the office at NME - never before have I sat on the floor halfway under someone's desk at a gig!
After his little set tonight various people were having pics taken with him and I just sort of hung back a bit because I didn't want my pic taken but I did have my S&R vinyl cover with me that I wanted him to sign and also a small present for him. In between people having their pics taken he looked right at me, smiled and said "oh hello, I remember you" so after just about everyone else had left we ended up having a nice little chat, I gave him my present (a box of home made mince pies) and he signed my album cover with a lovely little message along similar lines to the one he put on my Lupercalia CD. I sense a theme developing...
I can't wait for Brighton now!

niwo I'm totally jealous that you all got to be at a show together! It sounds like you had a great time lolli - Haha I saw your tweet about mince pies! I really hope there is a video posted from NME. When I move to Chicago he better do some awesome things there like record shop signings, etc. Although I think I would die if Patrick Wolf ever played at my work. Well, not at my work because I work at home, but in the office. It would be so strange!

Jessie, NME did have a couple of guys filming and previous sessions are available to view on their website so it will appear I'm sure. I filmed all 5 songs that he did (he said he'd been told he could do 3...) but with my pocket camera they won't be anything like as good quality as the pro version will be.
With your mention of how and office gig for you would be in your house, you've made me think that we should suggest house gigs to PW - how cool would that be?

Good I can't wait to see a video, I was hoping for maybe a livestream. It would be awesome for Patrick to make house calls! Of course I'd just want to chat with him the entire time if that was the case. I do love the randomness of some of his gigs. So glad you got to go!!

Wow, that sounds amazing Lolli - it's so nice that he remembered you Haha, that show sounds so random - i'd love to see him in an intimate place like that! Hahaha yes i want Patrick to come and play in my house! ;D I actually seem to remember once seeing a video of a band i used to like playing a show in someone's living room - i think they'd maybe won a competition or something...?! Patrick should so do that! Actually i'm not sure i want him to see the number of posters and setlists on my walls... This talk of house calls is making me think of this! Hahaha that has to be one of my all time favourite videos - if only it was that easy to get Andrew Bird to come and visit!!! Edit: It's advertising snickers at the side - NOOO how do i get rid of it??? Yay, it's changed to malteasers now Don't want to be seen promoting such evil
