Clever idiots, though! They DO make a bit of extra money from the "shipping". I am quite sure that you'd have to order a bunch of (heavy or big) things before the actual shipping cost amounts to as much as you've paid. Unless you actually order only one item, then I suppose it just covers the basic shipping. I think we should start a "I hate Sandbag" thread if there isn't one. I feel bad for polluting every release thread with negative things about them. /Tommy

oh that is for sure, it's easy maths. actual shipping for businesses has set prices.. and wrapping material is piss cheap, even if you do not buy enormous amounts like amazon. and even cheaper as they don't wrap anything properly...
harr yeah, we should have a thread like that...
in more positive news: i'm so excited for brumalia! depending on when amazon will ship it, i might get the downloads as well, just because i'm so impatient already. i cannot wait to hear trust, after he sang "werdraaaaauuuuueen" standing in front of me a couple of times!

Well it came in the post this morning. I'm juggling listening to it, getting dressed (it is Saturday), and looking after my kitten which has gone outside, but comes back every 5 minutes to make sure I'm still here.
Of course the only 2 songs I recognise are Together and Jerusalem.
Really need to sit down and listen to it properly. and find my PC to mp3 player cable. Like it so far.

How goes it with the adoptee? It wasn't the same without you at the gigs you know - you were definitely conspicuous by your absence! Back on topic, glad your EP has arrived, Amazon have sent mine but there's been no sign of the postie (although there's still time as he's never early) so I guess it's not going to get here today.

I've received the e-mail stating that it's been shipped, but it's not here yet. Waiting eagerly really makes the whole process of receiving, opening and listening/looking at the artwork so much more sweet. Also, your life seems like heaven. /Tommy

Guess what was waiting for me when i came home from work... ;D ;D ;D I've been listening to it on repeat ever since and i can't see myself being able to switch it off any time soon! I think my favourite at the moment is Bitten <3 (Also, i've come to the conclusion that Patrick Wolf has magical powers - there is no other explanation for the indescribable beauty of his songs ) Edit: Ok Time Of Year is also my favourite now - it's the sort of song i shouldn't listen to in public because i end up dancing accidentally and then i look insane

OH MY GOD THERE'S A THEREMIN IN BITTEN!!!!!!!!!!!!! A THEREMIN!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D And Bitten was already my favourite (And i didn't even notice!!! But now i know i can hear it ) And there's a musical saw in Jerusalem!!!!!!!!!!! I saw a guy playing a musical saw in the street when i was in Manchester - it was the coolest thing - it looked just like a perfectly normal saw but he was playing it with a bow and made sounds like a theremin!!!!!! (I have a slight obsession with theremins, in case you didn't pick it up from reading this )

I cannot hear the Theremin (track time when Theremin enters?), I dislike the percussion on Bitten (It sounds slightly like FL Studio).

It comes in for a bit at 0.14, and comes back about 1.20. You can hear it really well at 2.03. And i think i could also hear it coming back at 2.32 and 2.53 (it keeps coming and going). It's easier to hear if you use headphones or really good speakers.
I've also fallen in love with Trust, it may just be the most beautiful song ever <3

It is clearly a Theremin

Did anyone get a confirmation that Brumalia has been sent (to those who ordered from Sandbag)? Considering I pre-ordered I would have hoped they'd mail it on the day it comes out...

Just here to say I have just looked at the list of songs and had a happy attack because Time of Year is on it heh, heh, good memories. Anyway, do you guys like it? I'm probably not getting it because of Christmas gifts.

Mine came on Saturday too, aaaaaahhh!! Was lovely to get home from work and find it waiting, although I've been so busy I've only just had the chance to listen to it! I like what I'm hearing though Love 'Trust and 'Time of Year', although wasn't expecting the latter to be so jazzy haha! Oh, and 'Jerusalem''s a bit nice too, sad I can't just sit and listen to it without having to do loads of uni-related stuff at the same time though!

Is anyone else pissed off that there's a full 'booklet' with the lyrics with the itunes and Amazon downloads but nothing with the physical copy?
Why must those of us who prefer to hold something tangible in our hands be penalised this way?
Apparently it's a pdf so would it kill to make it available for all of us to download?

Is it just me or is there a hint of 'Godrevy Point' in 'Time of year'?
Probably just me.
