I ran Divine Intervention through Adobe Audition (audio editing software) and timestretched it about ten seconds so it's now 4:00 instead of 3:49 and now the vocals seem more normal. I'd still like to know if it's an error or the way it was meant to be. /t The original should be 4% slower. How do you know exactly? Oh, and please let us know when the "right" version is on iTunes

I love love love the House bsides so much, especially Divine Intervention I can't believe it's finally been released (Palladium memories... ;D) I actually like it that speed (but I did wonder why Patrick's voice sounded so high!!!). But I was playing around with it in a DJ app I've got (which I don't really know how to work!) and it sounded much more normal when I slowed it down a bit! It'll be a bit strange hearing the proper version though, I'm used to it at the wrong pitch!!!

Oh, and please let us know when the "right" version is on iTunes Well, if you know anything about music it is rather easy to tell the difference between an out of tune and in-tune piece of music (or you have perfect pitch). Also, I fed it into a DAW and analysed the pitches and it was out of tune by around 4% (4% faster than it should be), as I said.

I do wonder how iTunes can change something like that though when just uploading a song. :/

I bought a song a wee while ago, which had some corruption at the end of the track. I got an email from Apple saying they were aware of this, and gave me another download link to get it for free.
I'll wait for a bit and see if this occurs with Divine Intervention.

I've recently been listening to 'Mercia' a lot (love, love, LOVE it!) but I was wondering what the correct lyrics are? Googling didn't come up with anything...I was wondering if it was printed anywhere; i.e.; vinyl? Or some of you nice people might be able to help transcribe it? I'll have a go at writing out what I get so far sometime when I'm not so tired! Thanks in advance! I guess this is me being finicky but I do really like to know everything :/

I did try see if there was a thread about it, obviously didn't find that one! I think I understand it a bit better now anyway.
