And they are all site exclusive, none will be sold State-side. If it weren't for the damn shipping... :[ Good thing I picked that up, sounds like it is also a UK/Euro exclusive.

So PW has the pre-order up for the Limited Ed for Lupercalia patrickwolf.sandbag.uk.com/Store/DisplayItems.htmlIt's super awesome and a killer price for everything it comes with. BUT The shipping to the USA is $40!! WTF. Near 100% the price of the item on shipping?! I don't know what to do. There's no other place to order this from, and it's limited to 1000 so don't want it to sell out; but I really don't know if I can justify $40 for shipping

Huzzah. Lupercalia/Lemuralia. I'm excited: Wonder if it'll have the demo version of Time Of My Life that appeared all those years ago on the Battle Megamix? I liked the deep electronic vibe and the 'ching-cha-ching' guitar scratches. It sounds as if he sings "happy without you-eh-ho!"
Armistice is gorgeously produced, so rich and textured, it's bubbling out of my earphones and dripping on to my knees like honey.

Ordered 2CD Deluxe. Vinyl's a bit over the top for me (don't have a record player). Sounds like there'll be some real gems on that bonus disc, I love demos and work in progress stuff. ...now do I risk cancelling my hmv order with the ticket competition? hmmm.....

You know it says that the boxset has a limited edition green House vinyl... Do you think that the other 'House' vinyl that is on sale on Sandbag is the limited edition green vinyl too ? I tend to be quite obsessed so if it's a different edition of House I need it !

Since I've never pre-ordered an album before, I was wondering: if the release date is June, 20th, will it be delivered or shipped on that day?

I think that it really depends on the company that is shipping it. I once pre ordered a Placebo CD via amazon and got it about two or three days after the release date. Same thing happened when I pre ordered on some other band websites and on play.com. But then when I pre ordered the city 7'' on firebrand, I got it on saturday and monday was the release date. Therefore I think it is usually shipped on the release data but it just depends really. Hope that helps

Yeah it really depends on who's shipping it I'm afraid

amazon for me usually means i get it delivered a day before release or at release day the latest. play.com for me shipped before release, but as they're shipping from the middle of nowhere, i got it slightly after release sendback i got about a month after release........ i was so delighted.
by definition, pre-order should mean you get it at release date, that's the whole point of it. but mostly this can only work if you order from a store that ships from your country, going international always holds some more postal insecurities. and of course, it depends on the shop and their knowledge about the definition of 'pre-order'

The zoomed in cover remains greatly superior.

People who make the effort to buy the physical CD deserve the bonus tracks. Not the inferior compressed itunes.
