"The Magic Position" is a grower. well, at least it's what we usually call those records that keep sounding better and better everytime you listen to them. I like it when it happens this way. the way songs appear to transform. this because today I realized that one of my favourite songs is beginning to be "Secret Garden". that ending kind of reminds me of Einstürzende Neubauten's Peolikanol. scary fascinating stuff.

I don't have the album ... but I'm addicted to Accident & Emergency ... I watch the video over and over, too. Yes, I'm a dork ...

This is a tough decision. But I think my favorites are The Stars, Magie and Get Lost because they are my top played from The Magic Position.

Magpie or The Magic Position.
But Overture is amazing. And Get Lost. And Augustine.
Gahh...so hard.

Magpie, Overture then Bluebells.
The Stars & The Magic Position are close runner-ups.

The Stars, Overture, Get Lost, The Magic Position, A&E.
Today I was out driving and I blasted it from the car stereo. It sounded very nice.

I feel like I'm choosing a favourite child, here. I basically have a new favourite each time I listen to it (I suppose it also has something to do with my moods), but the songs that initially grabbed my attention were Get Lost and Bluebells.
If I had to pick my current loves, they'd be Magpie and Accident & Emergency.

If I had to pick my current loves, they'd be Magpie and Accident & Emergency. Same! At the moment I can't stop listening to Accident and Emergency but when I first got the album I had a scary obsession with Magpie and Get Lost. If I'm sad I listen to Bluebells and if I'm happy I listen to The Magic Position and if I'm in the car at night I listen to The Stars. I have a song for every mood. But The Magic Position is my overall favourite. It has to be!
