We set the theme; you take the picturesThe BBC Photoblog www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/photoblog/sets a theme and ask for submissions, showing selected pictures on the website. I've never been too keen on submitting to it, but there's no reason we can't use their themes for our own Wolfboard galleries. Anyone who wants to submit at theme as well, please do. Each date is the opening date for the theme, you can submit the photos for that theme right up till the next one starts, and you can submit as many as you like. If there's many people hosting their photos on Flickr, we could even start creating Galleries of our shots there. next 6 themes• Dogs: 27 April • In fashion: 4 May • Wet: 11 May • Construction: 18 May • Spots: 25 May • Hands: 1 June

I like that. I haven't looked before. It reminded me of pictures I have that have never really done anything with. I'm not sure if I've ever posted any. I should take photo's again. And get a better lens. Here's one:

'one shot per theme' ...I really couldn't choose only one photo for the water theme. I have tons of water pictures! Here are four of my favourite ones I love the one where you can see the seaweed through the wave!

^ where did you take this photo? It seems as if the landscape would never end. Also cycling is a very nice exercise. now my input for 'exercise': detail: img32.imageshack.us/img32/977/shakespearez.jpg What we see is an actor exercising his job but actually we're looking at the tv screen. it adds censorship. haha.. no. It's even one step further. You're looking at a photo of my tv screen displayed on your desktop.

Dreaming Impressions .. I missed both past dates but I don't want this thread to die. My suggestion is to make a themed week instead of a day. It doesn't work with one day. Also we could add own themes. --------------------- As it already is the 16th... Balance

thanks for keeping it alive romi. i've been having trouble seeing your pictures though. i'm just getting the [image] showing up. definitely willing for people to add their own themes! any suggestions, just add them in and pick a date for it! i tried quoting the post and copying the link, but i still can't get it to show up. don't know whether that's just a china problem or not though. here's Impressions and Balance: Impressions (First impressions of Beijing...) Balance (of light and dark, or some such) and cause i just updated the next list of themes from the photoblog: Lazy (because i'm too lazy to take a new picture lately, so i'm recycling an old one)

don't know whether that's just a china problem or not though. It's definitely a 'china problem'. I tried chatroulette some days ago and I met a chinese. Even though I had no webcam we talked a bit (it was very hard to understand his english and it took him years to write something) but finally I decided to send him a photobucket link for a picture. His computer said 'picture can not be displayed'. He had the same problem. We solved it by sending e-mails. I could make a roughly description. Dreaming: my sleeping cat in almost black and white (I apologise for such a cheesy subject), Impressions: impressions of snails in stone on a wall in my village, Balance: my sister balancing on a bent tree... you'll see them when you're back in Europe . Also, your photo for balance is really impressive and I'm looking forward to some more impressions of your trip to china. edit: clouds: 30 march ..yeah .

that's unusual, cause i use it to host pictures for my blog and i've no problem with it (yet)
have you tried flickr at all? i highly recommend it, it's definitely worth paying the fee for the pro account!

^ oh..haha, I've just noticed that I use imageshack instead of photobucket. Maybe that's the source of the problem. No, I have no flickr account but probably it would make sense to create one. I remember there's a very old deviant art page of me somewhere out threre.. creepy. I will delete everything, ha. Do you use dA?

i made a DA page a long time ago, but never really took to it. didn't sit well with me! I know.. lots of people showing photos of their vans and chucks there. And everywhere those facebook portraits from bird's-eye view... ha, really deviant. Also, did you witnessed the drama with BellZ ? ..horrible. But I still go there from time to time because I follow some painters. They are phenomenally skilled!
