I'ven seen lot of you listed The Bachelor on the 4th...probably we haven't heard it as many times as the other ones ^^ Or probably because it's shit in comparison.

Still sticking with my old list:
1. Wind In The Wires - For its beauty, darkness and lyrical imagery. 2. Lycanthropy - The electronics... And the noise. And werewolves. Slightly immature, lyrically. 3. The Bachelor - Lovely album that has a story to tell, but lacking subtlety and sometimes focus. But musically The Messenger/Blackdown/Thickets makes up for a bit of that. 4. The Magic Position - Too much filler, lacks focus and not even the fact that there are some awesome songs can keep it from being last on my list. Still, a better album than a lot of artists will ever make.

What would you consider filler on TMP? The Bluebell, X, Finale and even Secret Garden. (I much prefer Secret Garden II) Plus, Get Lost feels so out of place, because of how it's produced. In general, I feel the album lacks direction, more than anything else. The songs are good, but they feel more like just single songs than parts of a whole, to me. /t

1. Lycanthropy 2. The Magic Position 3. Wind in the Wires 4. The Bachelor I think it's interesting comparing albums with other people, but so much of our preference will be based on individual context that it's hard to really see which is better or worse. For me Lycanthropy was always first, because when I got into PW I was pretty angry/frustrated/a young teenager, so it was an amazing record to hear. It's also got beatz, synths, and songs which only I dance to at parties It took me a while to really love TMP, but again the danciness of the album definitely made it an amazing album for me. I think I prefer the slower songs on Lycanthropy to those on TMP though. I never really got into WITW, although again it has some crackers on it. In fact, it's probably equal with TMP just because of Land's End. And then there's Bachelor, which came after my big PW phase, and as I was alot more impartial to Patrick as an artist in general, I guess I judged pretty critically. I think what I dislike about it most is that the songs which I feel I should like (Oblivion principally) I just really don't like at all : / I think I just have a love/hate relationship with his songs. Sorry for the long in depth post, here's a unicorn.

I enjoy those little tracks more than eg. 'Magpie'... Anyway. My rank. 1. Wind in Wires 2. The Bachelor 3. Lycanthropy 4. The Magic Position

1. lycanthropy 2. the magic position 3. the bachelor 4. wind in the wires
i adore the b-sides from the witw singles so much that it really hurts to put it in the 4th place only... actually, my whole list is very randomly chosen, the only definite is lycanthropy as my favourite...

This is way too difficult! Erm 1. Wind in the Wires 2. The Magic Position 3. The Bachelor 4. Lycanthropy
I hate having to put Lycanthropy last, I love the atmosphere and the good songs on it so much <3 but I find it quite inconsistent

1. The Bachelor 2. Lycanthropy 3. Wind in the Wires 4. The Magic Position
The Bachelor is, right now, my favorite album ever and it's mainly because of the atmosphere. It's so beautiful and... complete, in some way, but it also has something I just can't reach and that makes every listen interesting. Lycanthropy, I love the spirit of the album, the lyrics. I wish I've known this album when I was younger. It took me a while to 'get' Wind in the Wires and it's still growing. The Magic Position has some of my favorite songs - TMP, Accident and Emergency, Bluebells and Augustine, but the rest sound like they're not finished. I like them, but not half as much as I love his other songs.
