Inspired by Sibz's thread about the best albums of the decade, I figured I would organize a sort of junior companion to that list.

So, send me your ten best albums for the past year in a PM and I will compile a list. Please rate them one to ten as they will be given points regarding how high on the list they are. 1 = 10 points, 10 = 1 point.

NO COMPILATIONS/BEST OFS/REISSUES - Unless they are like Dark Was The Night, which has only exclusive tracks according to what I could find.

I am aware that there is as of yet one and a half months to come but figured I would get you thinking early. Jam asked me about mine maybe three weeks ago so I'm not THAT early.

It doesn't make me very happy but oh well.

You can see the first post for this, too, but here is how I do it:

The number one on your list gets 10 points, and then that counts down until number ten on the list, which gets 1 point.

It would make it very hard for me to change it, but if you really want me to change your lists, send me BOTH the OLD and the NEW. I will then try to put the new scores in and remove the old.

This is going SO SO since so fucking few people have replied to me. Props to those who have.

People, bear in mind that I am the only one to actually see your lists. Nobody will bully you for your choices, but I will be a happy person when I can present a much more nuanced list. Too many are on equal points right now.
