I've bought my ticket, so I'm officially there. We should have a Wolf-cub picnic (or Patnic, as I believe you call them around these parts)...

Yeah, has anyone been before? Is there an obvious meeting point?

^ The entrance might be an obvious meeting point? The Myspace bus and the Artrocker Signing tent could also both make good meeting points, provided they're there again this year, which I expect they will be. I'll be with Rhianne for the day I expect, so I might be at this Wolfcub Patnic, if it materializes. Don't worry about "indie kids", anyone. Yes, there are always tons of them at Underage. But if you are dismissing/ afraid of/intimidated by a crowd of kids just because they all look the same and they dress how they feel comfortable, then that says a lot more about you than it does about them. I.e. you are a little bit up yourself, and maybe you should learn to wait and talk to a person before you judge them just by sight and preconceptions. i'm in bit of a hat mood recently and quite fancy wearing a sombrero but i don't think the dirty looks are worth it Last year my friends and I went dressed as Alice in Wonderland/Queen of Hearts/Peter Pan/Tinkerbell, so no fear

Nick Grimshaw was there, I saw him from the signing queue, being followed by a mob. The people behind me got really excited and ran over to take pictures... Patrick was also amazing! I was almost squished when he got off stage with the forward surge =) Also, he gave his ukelele to the girl just by me So I went and stroked it

I saw Nick Grimshaw. The whole thing was rather embarrassing, it was a clear path we were crossing and I saw this huge crowd walking towards us. I was saying "why is this large group of people heading towards us? do you think it's someonefamous" then I said "is that Nick Grimshaw" and then, rather louder "GRIMMY". The next few moments are a blur.
Oh to be the girl with the ukelele. Patrick's performance was better than I was expecting actually, what fun

You ran after him, didn't you, Liz? Hi, btw, it was loooovely meeting you. So, much day was pretty much the best EVAR. Patrick performance was fun, not the best song-wise (played most of like the anthemic ones, however Count of Casualty!) but he was on top-form and it was pretty fun. Some ABSOLUTE TIT behind me was trying to do 'proper' singing to everything, and tried to sing along with Patrick when he (patrick) was doing harmonies and that. ARGH. Also, this guy kept doing and extra 'BATTLE' so in the end i was so pissed off i held my fingers up in front of him and counted to four on my fingers whilst we said it. He got it right after that. There was serious crammage as well Also, the MySpace bus performance was AMAZING! Hard Times on ukelele to like 30 people and it was v. beautiful
