I've already hatched a plan with a friend to run away from school if it is on a school night x x Do it. I get anoyed at people who go 'Im 16 I wont get in and have school anyway and dont live near' or even worse 'I have work the next day'. DO IT Im a big believer in the old cliché 'where theres a will theres a way'. Plus it makes it more of an adventure when there are obstacles in the way. I wanted to go see Múm in London in September and had to sleep on a bench outside the venue afterwards with a little blanket. WORTH IT

there are some really good sites where you can get them.. besides you can also put on a lot of make up and act confident - girls can nearly always get away with it - boys its more difficult..
of course i'm going to do it - what else is there to do at school but do stuff you're not meant to?

good good! i mean, you can just not go in and tell them you were sick it's easy to get away with stuff like that in sixth form...firstly they don't really care if you're in school or not, and secondly you can just pass it off as illness or an interview if you get pulled up for it. i've probably missed about three weeks of school so far this year for gigs *ahem* i mean university interviews

yeah but the problem with me is i got to a boarding school - so checks are done at 9.00pm and 11 EVERY night!!! so we have to stuff our beds and pretend that we are going to bed really early (e.g.7) and no one is to disturb us - that way we can shifty off down to the local town for some fun... haven't done it enough though to be confident that i can go all the way to london and back.. if the worst comes to the worst i'll be expelled - but i don't care i've been trying to leave for three years so its probably a good thing!

El Alma live in America. They are much more thorough with ID checks, often using blanket checks where everyone is ID'd what evver age they may be. This especially happens for alcohol.

preach it, atrocity... i just wish they made it all ages. almost everyshow i have been to has had alcohol. but, you see, it all boils down to the amount of money they have, and i respect that. what is the legal drinking age in the uk, anyway?
aaanddd you don't happen to be a joy division fan........

I am a Joy Division fan. I was listening to this song when I signed up.
You have to be 18 to legally drink in the UK.
A lot of people start at 13 though.

I suggest The Stars will be on it hmm Theseus, Godrevy point (?) Souvenirs maybe I dunno I guess we have to wait 'Souvenirs' and 'Godrevy Point' are very much rooted in the Wind in the Wires-era; I'd be very surprised if they turned up on the album. From what I've heard, there's definately a song called 'The Magic Position' going to be on the album, and Patrick has said a number of times that 'Magpie' will be 'the token bird song'. I suppose the rest will be a surprise! Cheerio, Michael. xxx

For me, the very "funny" thing with this new album and the songs he played live and that weren't on Wind In The Wires is that: Well, for the last tour he had fitted some electronized album songs into rather "folkish" and acoustic live ones... I mean, c'mon: To The Lighthouse on the piano was just MAGNIFICENT! But now with songs like Magpie, the process is going the other way around: he's been playing it live accompanied by his soprano ukulele only, and I bet that's not the way it's gonna be on the album. That's what I'm quite looking forward to on this one!
Erm, hope you got the general idea of what I just wrote ;D

Yeah, it made absolute sense. And that's what making me excited. Because they haven't got violin or electronics in the background the songs we've heard are going to be completely different to the songs on the album (think the difference beween live libertine and album libertine)
