I mean, yeah, start of the tour and all that. Be nice if someone would post up something? Setlist? Band line up? Anything else? Are these not the things that matter around here then? ?

It was brilliant. Set packed full of new songs that all sounded brilliant. Much laughs to be had as well as Patrick was very chatty and in a good mood. We were treated to The Libertine, Bluebells, Tristan and Magic Position. There may have been another golden oldie but I can't remember. Not a very big crowd tbh. Was probably about 200 maximum in a 600 person venue. But everyone was in good spirits and Yacht were absoloutely brilliant. Nice merchandise to be had as well. We were also treated to the last ever Ukelele version of the Libertine as he will be doing a "Bob Dylan" and turning electric when they get their guitarist back. Was very happy after the set and cant wait to see him again.

The Sun Is Often Out, Paris and London, the Tinderbox and The Bachelor...sounds like the perfect setlist in support of the new album.

Well, it was my first ever gig, and i'll probably not forget it! I was right at the front, and most of my favourite songs were played! and he touched my hand! WOO! (does anyone know what song was playing during that time? It was after oblivion, near the start of the set. I'd love to know.)
Yacht were such a surprise! I did some research on Itunes before i went to the gig and i wasn't impressed, but their live performance was really vibrant. Plus the dancing was quite funny/good aswell!
Managed to get myself a signed poster (#41/250!) and a set of badges before going in to catch the encore!

how big are the posters? would i be able to buy one before the set started and not annoy people with it in my bag or would it be better to try and get one after?

*runs downstairs to get measurements* i haven't put it up yet, because i'm gonna see if i can frame it. its a glossy print of the 'vulture' pic. like the one seen on his single, and its signed in silver pen ;D the measurements are: in inches: 16.5 x 59.5 in cm: 42x23 im pretty sure, but i wasn't the one who measured it depending on if they have a lot left, i'd get one on your way in but i got mine before the encore started, then went back in with it. jay: i wasn't sure what u looked like, or else i would've said hi for sure. all i remember was there was a man with an afro behind me at one point, lol. which side were u on (cuz i was on the right hand side)

victoria, nick, jon, and marcelo were at northampton and it will be them plus tom the guitarist at all other dates.
hayden, sorry, i was on the left all night leaning against the wall because i stupidly wore stupid shoes that crippled me. but he did grab another boy's hand on my side during that song, i think.

i wasn't sure what to expect, really. i've only heard two songs and they played them very well, or at least the laptop did, and their dancing was entertaining... it all sounded a bit too 'bass-y' to me, i was right next to/in front of a speaker so i couldn't enjoy their whole set because it was far too loud... i guess that makes me old.

no., not at all; during the first song, my ears were really really killing me, i thought i was actually bleeding or sumthing i was right next to the speaker too- from the opposite side though. And yes, i liked their dancing, haha.

Old thread revival because this was my first PW gig (and I'm gathering this was Northampton we're discussing)
It was amazing, Patrick was so happy and he forgot the words to Paris! He spilt his cider and made jokes about the 'Britney' head set.
Also, Yacht were brilliant although I had to tell them off for knocking over his Ukulele.
Sorry for bringing the thread back, but it was such a fanastic night I can die happy. :')
