A mate at work txt me this address www.esnips.com/doc/36f7a630-cba7-4272-9787-b2fdcbb6de04/Patrick-Wolf---Fog-Fieldsand on it is an electroey 1min30 song which is tagged "Patrick Wolf Fog Fields" anyone have any ideas what it's all about? Is it really old or really new? also, i didnt realise his song The Towers was the one he played at the Tate with the lines about thickets and blackberries, is it an old one as well that he chose to revisit for that gig. Just heard the mp3 of it today and really liked it

re, fog fields: i think it's been established that this isn't actually a patrick wolf song. i don't know who the original artist is, where this came from or how it came to circulate labelled as a patrick wolf song. as far as i know it has nothing to do with him.
and you're bang on with what you wrote about the tower. i think the old version was performed for a radio show and then patrick revisited it recently with added lyrics and it's now 'thickets' - that's probably a provisional title as well.
