Mine's "I'm feeling braver than I've ever been." I'm having it tattooed on my backside in a circle around a light blue star next week. I'm quite excited.

Enchanted, enchanted This magical place that we've found No one here but us and the sound Of the stars and the night owls Your breath and the rolling clouds

i'm thinking (because I love the tone of it):
'Or do we kill this one tonight?'

"Deep in a dream I set the calmness to spinning" and "i am lost among the hinterland, caught among the bracken and the fern and the boys who have no name." Thats only if i HAD to choose. Oh....I thought it was 'compass' to spinning and so it reminded me of Pocahontas where she has the dream and the compass starts spinning...

Yay! I was sure it was compass and that I wasn't just being stupid. To be fair, lyrics should be right. The writer wrote them for a reason.

I think as is always the case with Patricks music, its not so much a case of what his lyrics are that gets people but they way he sings them, hands down my favourite PW lyrics are from WitW "A Unit A Family" just those four words and its all because of the way he delivers the line. My favourite lyrics from The Magic Position are from Magpie, one of Mariane's lines
"Little boy, little boy, lost and blue, listen now, let me tell you what to do. you can run on, run along, alone or home between the knees of her; all among her bracken and her ferns and the boy will have a name.
And Obv. the lline from the stars "...and now to the one with the never ending invisable scars look up! look up! The Stars!"

from The Bluebell
"So I lock the doors and swallow the key And draw the curtains closed forever Forever..?"
and from Augustine
"Thinking - why does love leave me So damn cold Now I'm getting old and is this what it should be.. well, is it?"
"and now come the tears - heavy and hot as it comes clear this is all we got as I hold you to my bed Like a cancer or a curse now be my loving nurse as we fall back into the impossible dream.."

I love all his lyrics! my favourites have to be: I't's wonderful what a smile can hide when the teeth shine right and it's nice and wide.
Look, your skirt is torn
It's the sigh of wild electricity. I'm on a cliff, surpassing comfort and securit. Here comes a gale... a crippling anger.
I love the lyrics. They're really descriptive- you can picture everything and create a story.

It has to be: "At the foot of a forest of dark hair, There's a door there, and here comes the key! As the grammar of one finger Forms a language Of this ecstasy!"
Hahahahahahahaha >< good old Patrick. The Marriage is such a good song ;D
