What are the chances of us ever hearing any of Patricks Maison Crimineaux stuff? I am really interested! Has he ever said no one will ever hear it? I guess it won't be released as a proper album, but what about just mp3s on the net or something...?

Patrick has been talking up Maison Crimineaux more and more of late: www.blogotheque.net/article.php3?id_article=714Not many other people got the humour. That was the problem. We were just having a laugh in the most absurd and fun way. But people are so straight in London. It was just confusing to them. So they kinda fought against it you know (deep grumpy voice) “Grmpf. It’s horrible." We got a sort of reputaton in London. I’m very proud of that.
Fanny lives just down the road right now and she comes over every Friday and we think about reviving it. The music actually was really amazing and unlike anything I’ve ever heard or listened to before.
[The interviewer wonders whether Maison Crimineaux sounded anything like Atari Teenage Riot] Yes, but you know Atari Teenage Riot were so serious. So we tried to pick up from what they did, that kind of absurd German shouty thing and make it fun. I’d really like to pursue that project but I need to find the time and get back to what we did at the time. You know, almost like a History project. So, there you go! Apparently there are still plans to release The Acne Tapes, a CD of Patrick's early songs and demoes, but Team Wolf are waiting for the right time to release it. I imagine something from around the same time of Maison Crimineaux would turn up on that. Cheerio, Michael. xxx

Thanks for that Michael. I will keep my fingers crossed. I think it might be the sort of thing I would like. I think gabba is great, especially when its tongue in cheek, which I think Maison Crimineaux would be.
