I'd guess someone just used the stems made available for the TOML Remix contest to make that. That old megamix version of TOML would be great too, though. Since the stuff is out there, maybe Patrick would be inclined to give us a few demos.

Okay... I have been checking Facebook and all the other usual social media stuff daily, but of course he's actually posted something the only time I didn't. It's great that he finally commented on the status of the book. It's just a pity that it took so darn long before he did. I'm fine with artists taking forever to make their art (I've been working on at least three different musical projects for years now with no end in sight...), but when you sell a product you're kind of obligated to deliver, or at least let your buyers know why they're not getting what they paid for. Even if you happen to be Patrick Wolf. Letting half a year go by without any updates... Not a good idea, really. Anyhow, let's hope the "next couple of weeks" thing is true. Should be here for my birthday. I don't know how the ticket sales are going, since he doesn't play anywhere near me, but I'd imagine that just a tiny bit of promotion would help with this sort of thing too. I don't know who Team Wolf are these days, but maybe they could put something on Twitter/Facebook/Instagram or whatever people are using? Congrats on going to SIX shows! I felt like crazy fan seeing him twice when he happened to be in Sweden. Wish I could afford/have time/vacation days to go see at least one or two shows this time around. Wild Life really isn't my thing, musically, but now I want the full track anyhow and it's not going to happen. Boohoo. I think this place started to go extinct a long time ago, even before the great Facebook migration. Some of the old fans lost interest when PW went more mainstream and less "lost boy"/experimental folk/weird. Some "grew up", I think. Other things in life became more important. Just like any other artist forum, it's also been very quiet when there's been no releases and it's been A LONG LONG TIME since any new stuff. Not really counting Sundark. I'm definitely not an active poster here anymore, but still around from time to time to check in. I don't really want to admit it even to myself, but life's been less forum chat and more work.

So, it there's really a tour, then why no official announcement? If I was going on a tour, I'd make sure to let people know in advance. There've been a couple of silly instagram and Facebook posts but nothing serious for a long time. Considering that a lot of people have also paid for a book that's nowhere to be seen, maybe it would be better to update the fans on whatever is going on, even if that means confessing that there are no new songs and the book money's gone to paying rent or something. Also, if Wild Life is fake, somebody's done a good job! I don't think there are any live recordings out there that are good enough to put together a vocal track that sounds this good. Oh, and while I'm at it, we should resurrect this place! I miss it. This is my first post here in a very long time!

Did you lucky people get to hear any new songs? I remember reading something about him debuting at least one new song sometime during the tour, but I don't know if it actually happened?

He played a church last time he was in my city (Gothenburg/Göteborg). A lovely show, the church was perfect for the acoustic set.
Unfortunately I can't justify the total cost of flight+hotel+restaurant food+time off from work or I would have come to the Union Chapel show. I miss London. Maybe I can afford the Berlin show, though. I miss Berlin even more than London and it's not quite as expensive.

To be honest, 2014 seems too soon if he's both taking time off and doing side projects. Recording albums have always taken a long time for him. Then again, the Brumalia EP didn't take too long, so who knows? Personally, I'd be devastated if he did that radio-pop/dance-trash album he apparently started when recording Lupercalia. Lupercalia was pop enough! (But of course, as long as he's happy with what he's doing, it'll probably be good in some way) I'd love to hear something a bit more like Venetian Snares. /T

I'd very much appreciate if you could keep an eye out for Archive EP #3. (If there'll even be one.) I'll happily paypal you whatever it costs. /t

Jessie, you should check ebay for those. Or perhaps musicstack.com or eil.com or something like that. Worth a shot, at least. I don't remember if Lupercalia was released by some US record label or if you'll have to buy an expensive imported copy. /T

for gothenburg i can say we got ones handmade in "wolves" which is quite cool and i assume it means wolverhampton whenever one was bought, it was replaced by William on the merch table - so they're better prepared than last year I got one of the "Wolves" ones as well. The one I got in Stockholm, however was "Made in Gothenburg". Guess which one I'm definitely keeping? /T

Today they announced that he'll be playing Göteborg (my home town) as well on Feb. 15th. D'oh! i totally forgot you were coming to that one as well!!! *facepalm* haha, maybe i even saw you and didn't know? Okay, who are the british fangirls who were at the show in Gothenburg? actually, not British but Swedish, Danish and German ... if you're talking about a glittery group of three Firstly, I went with my girlfriend and we got quite a good second row seat on the right side of the aisle, so if you saw a (currently round-ish) guy with glasses and a girl with pink hair around there, that was us. Secondly, I think we spoke to the Swedish girl in the group at the Stockholm gig on Sunday. Had seats next to her on the balcony at Södra Teatern. We thought you gals sounded British and I assumed it might be someone from the forum. Thirdly, the Stockholm show was such a different experience. More of a Wolf solo show. Definitely a darker set list, quite fitting since the scene lighting was almost nonexistent. We did get Teignmouth (THANK GOD!) and Godrevy Point (!!!). Now, let's hope he manages to fit in a show in London around may 4th-7th when I'll be around. EDIT: Also, it's Skansen Kronan. Yup, it's a million billion stairs (or a steep road at the back) but a lovely view once you get up there. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skansen_Kronan Lousy picture, but you get the idea if you compare the stairs to the person in front of them: PICTUREHERE are some pictures from Hagakyrkan. Not mine though. I think we have a few as well, but we haven't had time to put them online yet. /T

Okay, who are the british fangirls who were at the show in Gothenburg? The show was really great by the way. I am terrible at writing concert reviews so not going to try that. He did some Joni Mitchell cover I hadn't heard before and dedicated it to his cousin Harry (who was at the show) who, I suppose, some of you might have seen on Patrick's Twitter. Now some sleep, then I'm off to Stockholm and another Wolf show on sunday. Bliss! /T

Hooray! I'm seeing him twice in February so hopefully it'll be available then as well. If anybody's desperate, I MIGHT be able to buy an extra copy, but I'm afraid it'll be expensive with postage etc. I wonder what Serpentine is? Never heard of it before. /T

Another interesting question is why they don't sell the archive e.p. anymore... Patrick's been tweeting about that it's only going to be made until December 31 so I was about to buy one as soon as I got money on friday, but to my surprise it's not even IN THE STORE. Anybody know if it's available somewhere else?

Hooray and DAMN! I got tickets for his Stockholm show (feb 17:th) last week, because I assumed that would be his only stop in this part of the world, as usual. Which means a less than fun five hour train ride plus one night at a hotel. EXPENSIVE. Today they announced that he'll be playing Göteborg (my home town) as well on Feb. 15th. D'oh! At least I suppose that means I'll get to see him twice in one week. /t

Have a look at this: www.ionaudio.com/products/details/ict04rs I assume that's how it's supposed to look. I would also be concerned with faulty equipment, so better be careful. What MIGHT be another problem though is faulty vinyl pressings. My first A&E single sounded terrible. The slower brass part was unbearably flutter-y and going in and out of pitch. I also had a similar problem when my turntable's counterweight was set up wrong. Maybe check that, if your player has one. Should be in the manual. Another good idea is to get some really cheap old used record to use as a test record when setting up your turntable. /T

I emailed Sandbag asking what had happened to the fanzine and they made some lame excuse about making a mistake when packing things. They most likely have no idea if they actually sent one in the first place. Maybe the first one's just late because they sent it separately and now I'll get another one.

The album is FINALLY here... Unfortunately I don't have ANY desire to listen to anything at all today, due to having too many things to do. Oh, and did you guys get the fanzine separately or did Sendback mess things up as usual (I didn't get one)? /T

Here's the kind of cable you need. You should be able to get it at any electronics shop in your vicinity. www.amazon.com/Female-3-5mm-Stereo-Male-inch/dp/B000I23TTOThe input you have is a "line-in" so it's definitely line level input. Having a line input means that it takes a pre-amplified signal = the audio source can play loud enough on its own. If you had a "phono" input, that would have been for audio sources souch as turntables without built in pre-amps (the phono input raises the volume of the signal to line level). Hope that wasn't total nonsense to you. /t
