Ha, no of course not. The people in here have been described as pretentious on more than one occasion. I don't get that from you. I don't even know what an average Patrick Wolf fan is...

I like all the songs on the album. I like listening to this when I get sick of Lycanthropy... but when I get sick of Wind of the Wires, I listen to Lyncanthropy. I wonder how the Magic Position will fit in?

I feel torn between the title track and Tristan. Both are utterly superb in their different ways. It depends on my mood. If i'm feeling sombre, i'll listen to the title track. If i'm feeling hyper or angry, on goes Tristan!

Though it's very hard to choose one favorite from Wind in the Wires, which is such an amazing album, I have to say there's something about The Railway House that I just can't get enough of. However, other songs that are up there are This Weather, Eulogy, and The Libertine.
And Land' End always makes me so happy.
But then there's Teignmouth, and Ghost Song, and Wind in the Wires, and.... oh jeez I love em all!

they're all amazing!
this is a difficult question.
once upon a time, though, it was "this weather" - the version that patrick performed with a kantele in a radio session available for download at the wolf's lair.

Tristan, obviously. I have a special love for Ghost Song, too. & also a strange attraction to The Railway House, I think from seeing it live. OH THEY'RE ALL GOOD. although I can't seem to love the title track as much as it apparently deserves....

its definetly between the libertine and lands end. reasons?
the libertine- the first song i ever heard by him. and that has signifcant value.
lands end-its so catchy and fun. i love it. no doubt about it.
