hm nice review I don't own it yet, should arrive within the next days (or else sandbag...! ) but I've already listened to it twice or so at a friends who owns it and from what I can recall I really really love The Falcons too...made me even fall more in love with the song than I already was The Days sounded great too...the rest I don't remember that well, but they require more listens I'm sure to be fully appreciated (or dismissed which I fear is the case for Armistice...just sounded the same to me, like you said :/)

This Armistice is actually the original that was supposed to be on Lupercalia - Minimal with only Glass Harmonica, Cristal Bachet and Ondes Martenot, take notice to the lack of Piano.

I'm giving this another listen through, now that I'm more familiar with the album.
By far my favourite track on here is the instrumental version of The Days. I ripped it from the No Ghosts site way back when, when I thought because that movie wasn't coming that the song wasn't either, and it's nice to finally have an officially-released copy. I've loved that song, and specifically that version of it, for years. It holds a really special place in my heart. Nice to see that it made it out there for a slightly more widespread audience.
The version of Sing on here was the first one I heard, actually, and I was really, really pleasantly surprised when the choir came on. I wasn't too impressed with just Patrick singing by himself, but I really enjoyed it once it picked up.
The stripped-down version of Armistice is really nice, too, and it's super neat to have a completely instrumental version of Slow Motion. I was really excited for the extended William mix, as I really wanted more of William, hahaha. It turned out a bit....horror-movie-esque at times, though. I still like it, regardless. There are some bits that I really enjoyed. This version of The Falcons...oddly, mostly made me remember how much I wanted Wild Life to be somewhere on here. I prefer the album version, personally.
Oil slick is probably my least favourite track, too, although it has its merits. I think it'll join tracks like Ignis Fatuus and Kriegspiel in my "instrumental PW songs I don't listen to often" bunch.
Edit: Should this be under the Lupercalia section? Or do the various B-side/single albums not get put in with the albums they're with?

I love sing. It's haunting. I always fuck up listening to it too when it gets to the park 'If your voice is vanishing' and it stops i use to think that was the song over Lol. I'm glad i have that on vinyl it's a good release choice.
