Really really enjoyed the video. Am enjoying the almost Ke$ha-sounding backing deep-bass track ''Won't let The City, Won't Won't, Won't let the'' Love it...the video kinda reminds me of Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream' but, you know, better just the cinematography of the beach scenes.

Why no love for the saxophone! The sax is my favourite part of the song!
I'm going to go with the half of this group that is not really feeling the video. Maybe I just got too excited that a song called "The City" would be shot in the city and not on the beach in california haha

Nah, not for me. No soul at all. Just looks like Billy no mates has won the lottery and employed rent-a-crowd to head down the beach and party. My exact thoughts too!

Yeah, parts of the video are cute, but I'm not feeling the GAP ad attractive straight couples running about while Patrick awkwardly third wheels it. I do really like the song (and the sax!) though, and I think this is an upgrade from The Bachelor-era videos.

the cutting is applaudable!
but you have to admit that it would have been perfect with a very few cuts less. it flows really well with the song but some parts of the video are a bit too hectic, I think. this is just a minor thing. I still think it's a lovely video.
For Victoria: ♥ saxophone ♥
eta: his 'gang in beige' is strange..

I thought it was really lovely, it seemed to reflect the songs happiness quite well. I agree that the people look a bit like a rent-a-crowd-esque though and it would be nice to see him on his own like he is at the end which is really cute It reminded me a bit of a perfume advert though with all that fondling going on with his 'friends'..you could just imagine "fragrance au de wolf" popping up at the end.

I love the sax. Just my own thoughts, but I think Patrick knows that The Bachelor was a bit of a disappointment (possibly hence why he ditched 'The Conqueror' as this would have made it a 'partner' album). Personally I think both the new songs are great, he's not taking himself too seriously and I would love for him to explode into the mainstream and be this massive pop star. Unlikely I know, but I think it would be great.

XD. I'm not feeling the GAP ad attractive straight couples running about while Patrick awkwardly third wheels it. Yes, there's just that..why only straight couples and no gay ones? That's the only bad point of the video imo!

Oh i LOLed at the perfume ad thing XD. The straight couple thing also put me off. It's not even the couples, it's the people XD. Patrick is good on his own, the others look useless (I think someone already said that).

The video is nice. Still, Patrick playing piano while people basically have an orgy behind him (I expected things to get much hotter than they were... )reminds when I used to role play a D&D bard playing harp in the brothel "to get you in the mood". Kind of...awkward. He had to limit himself to kissing the parrott, which might have inspired my seal-o-phile dream.

I'm sad to say that I really don't like the song. I've only listened to it once, but I really wasn't digging it =/ I enjoyed Time of my Life much, much more.
That being said, the video was really cute but I thought he looked SO out of place! Was it just me!?
The absolute best part was the birds flying behind him and him sitting with his eyes closed. Ugh. It was gorgeous. It brought me back to Wind in the Wires days for a second.
