Patrick of course and also looking forward to AUSTRA's LP Feel it Break! (http://www.dominorecordco.com/uk/albums/02-02-11/let-it-break) I am really interested to hear Austra. And a bit confused when Katie Stelmanis magically turned into Austra on Twitter. So... is she the singer in this band or is it a whole new band? I just don't get it. Gah. On that note - you should get Katie Stelmanis' album. It's been out for a few years, but yeah, it's really good.

Saw them live when they opened for Robots in Disguise! It's a band and she's the singer (there's 5 other people on stage with her I think). I quite liked them, but they have these 2 girls on stage who just dance and sing occasionally, and I was just like "Whaaaat". They looked more like they were in a pilates class....anyway XD Yeah the music's good and I haven't heard Katie Stelmanis's earlier things, so I have to check that out now XD.

whoever mentioned pj harveys 'let england shake' the page before - i agree, it's awesome! i'm also very curious about iamx, good thing it's gonna be in my hands on friday and patrick wolf of course, but that's a bit too obvious on here... a real let down so far was white lies. album's rather boring imho...

Austra - Feel It Break is out there. Proper release on the 16th of May, but I just have to comment on it already. Gave it a quick listen this morning, because I was afraid it would all be too much like single Beat And The Pulse (droning, slow and repetitive), but now I've decided it's definitely one worth buying, so I'll refrain from listening to it more until I get the cd. Very much a more electronic version of Katie's sound from her first album, positioning Austra somewhere halfway between The Knife and Kate Bush. Bob Hund - Det Överexponerade Gömstället (The text on the cover does NOT say that, but rather: I have no idea for the cover. Sorry. /Martin) is a new lovely little gem from these Swedish pop weirdos. Unfortunately, you guys are going to miss out on the lyrical content if you decide to give it a listen, but it's quirky (and dark at the same time) pop with electronic leanings. I recommend it even though you won't understand a word. /t

What? The whole thing leaked? And I've been listening obsessively to Beat and the Pulse and Lose It for MONTHS? Ok I recently got Energy and Young and Gay to not go mental, and listened to youtube videos (Darken her horse aaaand The Choke). I'm seeing them again (for the 3rd time) in June. Not all the songs are like Beat and the Pulse!

Cocknbullkid! They're so good live!! I mean, she is...but there were 3 people on stage so I thought it was a band, ANYWAY! It was a good surprise because I didn't know what to expect at all.
Feel it Break came out on monday and it's soooo good. Yay for AUSTRA!
