Good Day- The Dresden Dolls
I forgot how much I love this song. And The Dresden Dolls. And Amanda Palmer.

I haven't listened to anything except David Bowie for about 3 weeks now, and I'm not bored yet. I recommend this activity of self exploration and soul investigating to everybody. I feel really thinky.

Los Campesinos! - Romance is Boring (third album)
Gareth's vocals are even odder at the beginning of the album, but go back to normal by the end. I haven't properly formed an opinion on it yet, but i do know that I still hate the female vocals. SOZ.

Savage fucking Garden. So good. I've missed them. Ahh brilliant! I may have to go dig out my old CDs now...something for the radio show... Currently the 'Monsters Of Folk' album... not brilliant but better than nothing. I would prefer more Bright Eyes circa 'Digital Ash...' but hey... beggars can't be choosers!

I'm currently exploring the wonderful music by Florence+the machine. I've heard the new version of "you got the love" on the radio some days ago and remembered how stunning she was at the Palladium show.

IAMX- Your Joy is My Low acoustic and live 2004. I HAVEN'T HEARD IT BEFORE There is like...NOTHING by Chris Corner that I don't have/haven't heard. I'm worried. AHHH Random mid-song conversation: Chris: That's nice, James... James: Yeah I just made that up. Chris: Ah right. It's good! AHHHH wow James Nemo playing the guitar (of course) and I think Sue Denim is doing backing vocals but it may be that girl called Mary who was around for a bit. Okay just decided it's Mary. ...And I realise that this is totally irrelevant to anyone who knows even a normal amount about IAMX.

I like your post XD ^^ I used to be a lot into the Boosh and on LJ there's this community where they talk about the Boosh +Robots+IAMX and there are always funny posts. Haven't gone in a while though.
A Nervous Tic Motion of the Head to the Left - Andrew Bird. I just started listening and I like it, it's quite calming...I like!

Haven't gone in a while though. THE BOOSH HET HAVEN Bloody love it. I'm not a huge fan on the Boosh though. I used to be when I was about 14 but I get a bit sick of Noel Fielding's bloody PROBLEMS. It's a wonderful place though....for freaky photoshops and the general collaboration of a million in-jokes. Which is always funny. Also, there's a bit of Patrick Wolf and Alec Empire on occasion. I love Robots in Disguise SO MUCH. Hopefully seeing them in April... Right now listening to the Evita soundtrack. I want to listen to Placebo but I have to learn words.

Underworld - Born Slippy.
AKA the 'larger larger larger' song.
But the 11 minute version, I'm trying to see if it will actually do anything to me if I l;isten to it on repeat for too long. (ie. transport me to another plane of reality...drive me mad...)

Brendan Canning! Well, "Broken Social Scene Presents Brendan Canning".
This is a pretty good, vaguely disco time.
eta: I've progressed to regular Broken Social Scene. The version of Lover's Spit with Feist singing is sosososososo nice, oh my god, I want her to sing me to sleep every night.

Peacock skeleton with crooked feathers - The blood brothers.
In fact, I used to love them when I was like 16, but I was never really into 'screamy' music. I tried but these are the only ones I truly felt I understood, if that's the right term. What genre is this I don't know, I can't grasp genre at all. But the less screamy songs I love. And this song and a few of the others have always stayed with me in a way.
Anyway, it's quite nostalgic to listen to.
