I was supposed to see Vampire Weekend supported by Broken Bells, but it got cancelled about 5 minutes ago. I don't like either of them much. But no one tours near me so I thought I'd go anyway

On Sunday, not sure if this really counts as a gig, but it's my mate's birthday party and it's at The Labour Club ('cool' venue), with Bands and DJs performing.

I've a bit of an ecletic taste so have a mixture of gigs planned for the rest of the year.
August : PW @ Bush Hall September : Stars at Heaven October : Doctor Who and Nils Lofgren November : Linkin Park and Lissie - not on the same bill
In 2010, I've seen : Florence & The Machine, Amy McDonald, Penn & Teller, Placido Domingo, Scissor Sisters, Mandy Patikin, Steel Panther, Rammstein, Billy Connelly and a few others..

arcade fire in ten days! might see hidden cameras on friday too.
also, there's a chance i can see my beloved weakerthans in december!! i'm going to winnipeg for christmas and there are four 'album' shows on december 15th-18th. the only problem is that i don't know when i'm getting there yet. if it were like the 23rd it'd be a definite, but the weakerthans have to have christmas too i guess.

Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly in October! For what is possibly the first time EVER, one of my friends actually went and looked up one of my music suggestions, so I have someone to go with as well, yay!
