The board could certainly do with some more action. At first I thought it was because of all the mega-chatzes, distracting things away from here, but now hardly anyone goes on the chatroom either

I was going to start a thread about an article in the Daily Mail, but I got halfway and now I'm away again. I'll post it when i'll get back, maybe there'll be some more discussions!

sobering details: more birthday threads were made in this month than all other august community room threads combined. [and two are quite poor; this one and izzy's]
on a forum-wide scale, there are significantly more members than threads. startling; as i can comfortably assume most other messageboards have their own huge chunk of inactive accounts, yet none i've come across share this same trait. even more deflating is the fact that 20% of all thread topics are located in the wolf pack.
unfortunately, as nice as a new thread is here and there, most of the board just doesn't seem to have the proper mindset to actually cure this. the natural urge to provoke discussion. then again, can't be too critical when the number of daily regulars continues to dwindle, forcing the same group to endlessly entertain one another. i guess i'm just not really sure what to think when even the megathreads are slowing down considerably which i can't seem to recall ever happening before.

i think the biggest problem is that no one's posting because no one's posting.

I do miss leaving for an hour and coming back to find thirty new posts. I think we should not be afraid of talking garbage. If people want I will say everything that comes into my head from now on...but I don't think you wanna know that. It may just be beacuse it's the 'summer break'...or an inactive point in PW's album outputting; I really don't know. But Wolfboard really does need to perk up

Yeah, well, you know, that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.
I remember a time when there were maybe half a dozen posts a day, and all about Patrick Wolf (hah)... It's all part of the ebb and flow of life.
That said, I do appreciate new posters and threads. I could make some of the latter myself, but I'm, you know, lazy.

aww, one mustn't feel bashful about offering up their own unique perspectives; be it on the loves in their life or love of life or lovelife. in the end it is all for the enrichment of a cozy community's intellectual palette. from seinfeldian insights to inky splotches of calvino's dream journal, we all have something worthy to add. that said i am officially vacating the role i shamelessly assumed this year as mealymouthed rabblerouser. life is much too short and my wpm is much too slow. i prefer sinking into the black background [teal trim] & getting in a word in while tinkering with my crackpot. do not take this as a step backward; a loss of faith, but rather as one forward; a sign of complete trust in this curious bunch whom i will advocate the virtues of until the day the code is cracking at the seams. i predict when that happens i will be eating a sandwich. happy new year!

as we can clearly see glory in the distance, consider this thread, if you will, indiana jones' whip swinging us to safety and riches over a pit of unknowable horror.

I've not been posting much, and I should. But then I have 'things to do' which I never even do, instead I remain non-posty whilst worrying about ALL THE THINGS I NEED TO GET DONE. So, I should just man up and post. Or man up and do my essays. Either or. Or both. I need some balance back in my life I'm very scatty. But I've got things to say, not so much about TV, but food and films and art and whatnot. SOON.

I know I'm not that much of a massive poster anyway but I just disappeared for a month, sorry and hello again! I'm usually on here mostly when I'm trying to procrastinate from uni work, so I'm sure I'll be on more when term starts
