Does anyone else feel guilty when they skip a song too many times? Poor song, not getting played etc etc? Haha, I do sometimes, yes! What's really quite bad is that most of the stuff I skip over tends to be the classical music that I've stuck on there; seeing as I'm doing a classical music degree, I should really start listening to that stuff more often MUCH prefer playing classical or hearing it at concerts rather than listening to it everyday! I don't really have particular types of music that I listen at certain times of the day; generally most of my music is on shuffle, unless I've just got a new CD/am going to see a band live soon in which case I'll probably be listening to that CD or all the songs I own by that band/artist, probably on shuffle! I listen to music a lot on my way to uni (when I'm not cycling there), and this generally means I accidentally blank people quite a lot, it's embarrassing I do have a special playlist for occassional use when I can't get to sleep, mainly because if I just put it on shuffle I have too much lively/noisy stuff on there! And also because, one night when I was just shuffling the whole thing, I was lying there in the dark and suddenly all these wolves started howling as 'Prelude' came on; it was honestly terrifying!

The guiltiest I've ever felt shuffling was a song from Jake's EP came on and on MSN he said 'AWWH YOU'RE LISTENING TO ME - OH NO YOU'RE NOT '

But, in all fairness, when will people learn that when i have my headphones in, it means i can't hear you! I even listen when I'm on my bike, oh dear. I can't sleep with music in

Hmm, sometimes. There was a period of maybe three months when I listened to Vespertine on headphones every night while sleeping. But I repeat music according to my mood more than what I'm doing.

walking across campus: i play this compilation called Loud, Fast, and Out of Control which is like good old 50s rock n roll - gene vincent, and the big bopper and eddie cochran and 104 songs of full speed crazy. i set the volume so loud i can't hear the world around me. I have that compilation! I love it. (I also have The Best of the Girl Groups, but this information is neither here nor there.)

Combo Joanna Newsom + Arvo Pärt for healing. Spiegel im Spiegel I think could heal most any wound.
