Is it wrong of me to find those a little bit tacky? no. you're human so that's just natural. bute they're seriously cult. I saw them at the German Christmas market in Hyde Park last year...but they were way way expensive. I know how to make 'em, and I know how to make frosting. I am a boring boyfriend.

yes they're ridiculously expensive! I never tried to make them myself but I should give it a try. It can't be too difficult..
boyfriends who can bake gingerbread (and even with frosting) aren't boring.

Well knowing how to make them and actually being able to do it are two different things... roasted asparagus is my favorite. om nom especially with some flaked parmigiano reggiano or similar

Not sure about the arugula salad, cause I never tasted it, is it a lot like ruccola to the taste? They look rather similar...

I haven't actually done it in quite a few years....I've PMed you a recipe that seems to correspond with Swedish recipes and sounds about right....maybe ignore the black pepper though.

Sorry about the triple post. Here is the hamburger I mentioned before. Composed of two slices of White Farmhouse bread from Tesco Finest, two beef patties from the local butcher "The Black Pig", fried red onion rings and fried slices of Jazz apple.

Rhi, you'd be a convert after trying this one.
Flo, you'd probably be able to recreate some of the glory with a vegetable pattie of some sort. Also, I think it looks wonderful because of all the glistening fat.

oh my word dont even get me started on my favourite food. burgers are just incredible. i make the best burgers, with bacon and those tacky cheese slices and plenty of mayo Paella i dunno what the hell peas are doing in it... paella is delicious, obviously we only ever have it in spain. how they make rice so tasty is beyond me. and the big white beans they put in and the little meat balls...i just did a homer simpson drool fish pie ultimate comfort food. my mums in particular is amazing. although she hasnt made it in ages because of her diet. and finally...a good STEAK. fillet, always rare. my sister loves hers blue www.amadeus-funhouse.com/mc/images/fillet_steak.jpgim much more of a savoury person, i do like sweets but id rather have a starter and a main than a main and a desert. but i do loooove the cake.
