I find girls who use semicolons kinda erotic. I dunno there's just something audacious about them, indicative of a comfortable grasp on language, man I just love a girl with a aesthetically pleasing writing style. Oh yeah. (this isn't ironic by the way, I really I'm that weird) i'm that weird too, then.

I like that this thread's suddenly appeared! I remember learning how to use semicolons in Year 10 and then sticking them in pretty much every other sentence; I love them, because I'm sad like that I remember being really gutted last term when my record review from uni came back marked and apparently I'd used too many

I like semicolons, I like how when I use semicolons and dashes and stuff I can actually hear that little bit of sentence in my head like someone's reading something out, and it sounds nice. Dashes are my favourites though, my teacher used to call me Cara Dashwood and circle every single one. My record was like 9 on one page I think.

It does, if there's a plot to "take care of her".
*looks around suspiciously.*
Also, I've never seen so many fans of the semicolon in one place! I wonder what it is about Patrick Wolf that attracts such fans? I'm off to ponder.

There must be some correlation between our our liberal views, our bad taste in music and our lust for semi colons. It's a head-scratcher for sure.

I learnt to use them at the beginning of middle school I find girls who use semicolons kinda erotic. UHHH *tugs at collar* getting awkward in here! I used them in a thread earlier, I think I got it right!

Anyone else find that MS Word tells you that you need one when you REALLY DON'T?
Or am I just sparing on semicolons? I thought I was a good writer, putting them in where they sounded right, along with the dashes and stuff, but no, Word has a different opinion. (I think it's that paperclip's fault...)
