i'm skipping a couple of my mock exams to see patrick in november luckily the london date is the first day of the christmas holidays for me but still, our teachers have spent since september preparing for mock exams and telling us how important they are, i can't wait to see their faces when they read my note telling them i'm going to have two days off

haha, lucky!
my mum would never write me a note for something like that
i'm having trouble even getting her to let me go to a gig in glasgow, which i'd get back at on the day and be fine enough to go to school for

my mum doesn't mind me missing school as long as i get my grades in the end but she is extremely protective about me going to gigs in places more than an hours drive away from her i'm still convincing her about letting me catch a sleeper train, i've caught trains at midnight before but she's being very picky about sleeper trains :/
i hope you can make at least one of the gigs though eh, it'll be a massive shame if it's just parents and school getting in the way

i'd offer you a place for the night ana, but my mum would never accept me having an almost stranger to stay the night, she seems to have an idea that all strangers are pedofiles

Which is funny, because Ana is a paedophile.
Well, if I'm in the general London area at the time, I'll drop yous a line and you can all experience my EXTREEEEEEEEEME Scottish accent and poncy lipstick.

well school ends the 20th for me, but I still have to take the entire week off (since they don't ship overseas I have to pick up the tickets three days prior to the gig, it seems like). But I'm going with a friend, and we'll probably use those extra days to go visit a pal of hers in Oxford.
and as for parents, I'm 18 and I live by myself a four hour trip away from them, so they don't really have much power when it comes to things like this. haha.
They've always been kind of relaxed when it comes to concerts and travels. I've been more or less "on the road" since I was 13. This will be the first time I travel outside of Scandinavia without them though.

I'm still new here and honestly really boring, so therefore not worth meeting at all. Both my sister and I really want to go to this London gig but work may stop us...we'll just have to come down with some kind of disease that day. I hope public transport wants to be kind, we both live in awkward places to get to and from.

Fuck it people. Let's have an EPIC meetup and outdo the last one.
Lets start a list of who's going, then shall we? Post your name if you're coming and I'll put it up in the first post.

Me and my friend Erik (Holden on the board) might like to join in hostel action, unless it's all girl action that is. And by action I seriously mean nothing sexual, you all know that. Only Nils can call me f_cktard and get away with it. Oh, the hi-jinks of this summer...

When/if i get tickets i would like to meet up, if you promise not to beat me up. My dad with be with me though, i would think. Florence would also like to meet us if she can. She is getting tickets. Unless you go to like..a bar or something. Then i obviously wouldn't be able to meet you.

Speak to the Melba. I know nothing of anything about said hostel, all I know is that we will be staying in one...somewhere in London. I'm pretty sure we're bringing some non-girly-types with us, so sure

youth hostels tend to seperate sexes in rooms, e.g. a room for boys and a room for girls just if you wanted to know.. i'm not sure if all hostels do that though
