If Noel Fielding is considered a "genius" in this day and age we really are all screwed.

I mean I think hes passably amusing but the term "genius" should be reserved for the likes of Joyce, Picasso, Einstein and Andy Kaufman.

The only reason to watch Ugly Betty Robert Downey Junior Much, much more attractive than chinny Tennant: Oh yum.

(No idea what's up with the barcode..) Ah, it brought the big laughs and hijinks. Edit: big laughs and hijinks. I WON'T EVEN ASK. Much, much more attractive than chinny Tennant: This picture belongs in the 'usually passably attractive but in this bad photographic example, frightening ugly' thread.

I thought I was the only person who found him hotter. He looks like he needs some moisturiser at the moment, but he's still very handsome. he only needs moisturiser because a wolf didn't take pity on him. Eh? Chris Morris is a genius. Charlie Brooker is a genius. Noel Fielding is not a genius.

His articles are no longer funny and he hasn't done anything as good as barley for an age. Still think he's amazing, mind

Charlie Brooker is great, but I hardly think watching TV and responding with various witty variations on "lolz that was teh shit!" qualifies you as a genius.
Chris Morris is though obviously.

Who asked you?
Besides, he co-wrote Nathan Barley.

Well, duh. But I do wonder how much of Barley he wrote. He came up with the premise on TVGoHome with a show called "female reproductive organs", but the majority of the actual script seems more Morris

..yeah I've always imagined that the overall concept and story came from Brooker and Chris Morris filled out the actual script, cos its bursting with Morrisisms.
Not dissing Brooker, clearly a very clever man; but Morris is the genius.

Frederick Bang, now st.Frederick Blood Royale (I can't keep up with stage names) He was in a band called les incompetents, now in a band called ox.eagle.lion.man. I've always found him secretly attractive, although generally people seem to know him as peaches geldof's speccy boyfriend other than that i believe they've all been mentioned

It frightens me the way people throw around the word 'genius' these days.
Particularly in this thread, when it's being applied to mildly amusing satirists who totally buy into their own hype and turn a long running in-joke into a 'comedy' show that ISN'T EVEN FUNNY.
Bite me, but Chris Morris is way over-rated.
Also, I like Charlie Brooker, but saying 'twat' a lot and applying 'random' decriptions over clips from TV shows / adverts does not a genius make.
Cheerio, Michael. xxx

Cheerio, Michael. xxx Ha FAIL. But theres more to Chris Morris than just satire even though he's a master at that. The way he uses the English language as his play thing is masterful. Thats my favourite thing about the mighty Morris actually and what to me allows him to make the leap from merely hilarious to genius status. Mark my words in years to come people with recognise Nathan Barley along with Spinal Tap as being the greatest and most accurate satire on popular culture ever put on screen.
