What does everyone think about the new album?
I was a bit annoyed, but some of it's not bad... I don't like how they've resorted to odd little drum and bass tracks with Thom just wailing over the top, however tracks like Mr Magpie and Codex are pretty!

I used to be a big fan of Radiohead, but we've sort of... grown apart during the last eight years or so. In Rainbows was a good if somewhat boring album, stuffed full of sounds and production that I adored at the time. King Of Limbs, however, is a different kind of "new Radiohead" which I feel is jazzier and even more experimental. I love the synths, and the rhythms, dislike the fact that it's extremely hard to hear what Thom is singing and absolutely loathe the muddiness of the mix, where every complex part is very hard to distinguish from the others because of overlapping frequencies. So, in short, an album's worth of interesting and experimental tracks that don't get through to me. Has anybody heard/seen the "from the basement" live versions of the tracks from the album yet? I haven't had the time to listen properly, but hope it's good. As are the remix single tracks. /t
