Alright, I put my hand up- I like N-Sync. It's not really a guilty pleasure as I'm quite open about it but what records of dubious credibility do you just like to put on when nobody's in?

I've been told I should apparently feel bad for liking The Pipettes, hell I don't even WANT to like them, but I just can't help it.
THE DARKNESS still make me feel joy in my heart. To this day I will stand by the fact they wrote darn good songs.

Jack Off Jill. Oh yes, what a beautiful name, dear shock rockers. The singer would cut her arms while on stage, and nowadays little goth girls on livejournal with user names like brokendolly666 adore her and lyrics such as "piss in your heart and be that special girl." But really, they have some good tunes.

Twizzlers and caramel-filled ghirardelli chocolate squares.
(oh my god, I probably sound like the quintessential LA anorexic saying her guilty pleasures are candy, in which case i'll change that and say that Kylie is the shit.)

Tom Jones, ha! one of the best gigs I've ever been to, we had free tickets, we were drunk and he played Delilah and Sex Bomb all all the great songs. So we danced and sang along loudly. it was truly great.

I've been told I should apparently feel bad for liking The Pipettes As you should Ha, I don't get it, what have they done wrong? Other than the occasionally rather forced and cringy "post-feminist" lyrics.

nothing except that they cannot sing. I have seen them live and they were quite painfully off key

They're rubbish Josh. Utterly terrible. You're a bad person.
I agree with Blair, I have no guilt in the music I like.

They're rubbish Josh. Utterly terrible. You're a bad person. Oh come now, I know this old pop game well, and in my years of experience as a discerning listener I've learned to spot a rib-snorting good ditty. It Hurts To See You Dance So Well, A Winters Sky and Pull Shapes among others certainly score high in this category.

nothing except that they cannot sing. Seconded. If they didn't look and dress the way they did, none of us would ever have heard of them they were that sub-par.

A bit like a lad you might have heard of by the name of Patrick Wolf... I dunno why I am defending The Pipettes quite so passionately..

I'm not dissing them or their songs. just stating the fact that I have seen them live more then 1 occasion and they cannot sing live and in harmony. It's not about the image, I quite like the image. I'm all for polka dots and girl bands from brighton! and patrick can sing live. well every time I've seen him he never managed to be so bandy out of tune as the Pipettes did.

Erm...
Leona, Charles and Eddie(!), Shane Ward, Will Young, Kelly Rowland, Usher...
Ps. Personally, I don't actually feel guilt for liking any of the above. They're all awesome.
