I met him and he gave me a sticker and I looked at him in a strange way and took it and said: Thank you, mister! Haha, I'm such a jerk! And stupid thing is that I missed the gig! Gosh I'm so da damn idiotic! Anyway, what I was about to say was; I like him too!

I just definitely missed IAMX and saw a disco dance show with a lot of ABBA covers on the 2nd. I am crushed. I told my sister (in Florida) what happened and she screeaamed. We are both huge Chris Corner fans. :C A product of me spacing on the date and vacation with parents.

A fan of all Chris Corner related projects. I'd really like to see IAMX live but, as usual, living on the other side of the world becomes a problem...!

That's the problem though. In order to get here bands have to be huge and doing a worldwide tour... basically.
I'd rather we all just transplanted ourselves back to wherever our ancestors came from so we could just hop on some public transport and get ourselves to the nearest pub/club/whatever to see half the bands we have to wait half a decade to see here.
I'm going to stop complaining now!

too right though. And if you wait a decade and then the universe does one of those, 'lets see how we can wreck things for you' moments and you cant make that one overpriced show, its oh so bad.
well cant have everything i suppose. it does make it super exciting though when artists do tour.

I adore the first track-- as in really really. But as a whole the lyrics are awful. His lyrics have gradually gone downhill. Sneaker Pimps lyrics, bar a few, were incredible. When he hit his first solo CD, I liked how he got somewhat edgy and sexual. The Alternative had some nonsense, but it had great moments. On KOWA he gets a bit angsty and primitive. Can't stand that. Edit: Errr, sonically it's pretty decent. It's actually a catchy album.

I haven't heard the whole new album just Think of England which is decent and The tear garden. The Tear Garden....I think it's just repetitive and you're waiting for it to change at some time in the song and it doesn't, which is quite disappointing. It does change a bit but I think it's a bit flat. Watching the video, it seems really long and boring. But it's a good song.
Btw I don't know how come, but my high school have a lot of IAMX fans! A lot....ok 3-4 but still to me it's a lot XD. It's quite visible too, IAMX lyrics on their bags, IAMX badges and t-shirts, not to mention weird haircuts.
