...not digging it.
It guess it's meant to be beautifully emotional and expressive, but it's just making me laugh/grimace.
It also looks like it was made by a film studies student.

Loved it. So perfect + pure. My favourite of the videos from The Bachelor.

Maybe it's because I love the song so much, but it was lovely. The scenery, the costumes, the dance in the beginning.. already one of my favourite PW videos. It just fits the song so well.
It did remind me of the WITW era videos as well, but probably more for the location.

Oh this is brilliant! His acting is a LEETLE BIT funny, bless 'im. But i enjoy the video, for all it's cringeyness. It does suit the song really well! And it's very picturesque. I like the more I watch it, it certainly is a PW video to a t. And the kiss is clearly fangirl heaven! However, does it look to anyone else like he's trying not to laugh during it?

I am a film studies AND a film making student and, yes, it does look like something we were shown in class by an older student, but we all were kind of 'meh' about it. We've seen some amazing work by amateurs that looks almost professional but...
I'm not blown away. I like Patrick's black costume. The others are a bit boring. The locations are lovely, the 'dance' is like something I'd make up in my living room and the cinematography leaves a lot to be desired. The only bit I actually like is where Patrick is curled up on the floor and the shots are changing repeatedly, otherwise it's all a bit of a mess.

My reply in the other thread:
Meh, I hate to say it but I'm a bit disappointed. I liked the first 25 seconds, but hated from then on until 2:00, and even then I only really liked the parts when he was alone in the forest, and lying on the ground in the white outfit.
I thought the bits with the woman were a bit cringe-worthy.

Hmmm. I feel slightly puzzled by what I have just witnessed. It was kinda pretty but some of it just lasted too long. 1:45 looks like what my hairdresser does when she fluffs up my hair. Still, fit haircut Patrick! So much better than the extensions... and I may learn the dance routine. And on that bombshell...

i'll be back soon with my opinion because i'm still faffing around with the mailout at the moment which means i've only watched the video once.

Watched it only once, but so far I don't love it, maybe it'll grow on me. I liked the scenery and the costumes (esp. the black one) but the bits with the woman aren't my favorite... But as I said, maybe I'll like it after seeing it a few times more.

I like it, it's simple and suits the song. And I like the scenes where they're laying on the ground, how they're both upside down. Although it kinda reminds me of the Spiderman kiss

I expected something completely different but maybe that's a good thing. It wasn't really complex. I don't know - I thought the video would turn out more story like..
What I really loved was the white costume - especially when he was on the ground.

It made me laugh a lot but in a good way, I like it very much. Imagine if everyone started doing the dance at gigs LOL the imagery...

i like it a lot more than i did the first time i watched it. the first time i was just a bundle of excitement and confusion and i sort of thought it looked like a media project or something. and i guess a lot of people still have hangups with the lighting and the camerawork but i actually really like it, now. i'm trying to focus more on the story of damaris than what i heard about the video beforehand because when i think about all the hilarity on set, it kind of shows in the video for me. so i just pushed that aside and yeah, i think it's lovely. the kiss was a bit cringe, it's kind of like watching your big brother having a snog (for me, anyway) but the parts just after that are my favourite bits of the whole thing.
and the song itself is really dramatic and OTT so it goes with the video quite well, methinks.
