I understand the critics you're making on the new song. If I weren't there, I'd say it's not great but it really was. The video's sound isn't great at all and the composition is way more complicated that we can hear now, it surely is a hit, but it's really really good, I've never seen an audience crazy like that during the song... So don't forget that the first time he's playing it, that we're hearing it live first and that it won't be the same thing in the conqueror... Still, i love it

I really hope this makes it as a chart hit; I wouldn't be able to stop laughing every time it came on the radio.

I haven't listened to it yet (youtube videos aren't the best for hearing new tracks) but am excited for a new dance-y song, but hopefully the whole album isn't like that. I'd imagine it won't be... there was that song Armistice(?), unless he plans on putting a dance beat behind it

If the recorded version includes AutoTune, i may refuse to buy the album.
I won't, obviously. But I won't be a happy bunny.

I remember loving this song when he played it, but now I've completely forgotten how it goes (and I'm on a library computer, so can't listen again at the moment). I did go mad to it though, which I never do, so that says something (although perhaps it's just because it was Patrick/Paris/generally very exciting). I'm rather excited about hearing it again... Ah, for the internet at home.

It's quite fun and catchy and sounds good to dance to. But and it'a a big but I just don't think it's anything special. Obviously it's difficult because I'm judging it solely on a youtube vid, but still it just isn't right. I'm not really explaining this well but what I love about Patrick's music is the way it inspires me and makes me feel different emotions and this song as with much of the bachelor just doesn't do that. It just sounds like a song. Perhaps a good song (time will tell) but nothing more than that.

i like it! its funky and catchy... i think wolfy fans should give it a chance and not crucify it because it sounds very mainstreamish. not all mainstream is bad....

wow thanks for posting this link. I haven't written anything on here for a long time, but I just have to say something about this new song. as I'm a big fan of eighties music, both new wave and pop, I am pleasantly surprised! I'm especially amazed how it sounds as if it's actually an eighties song, even the vocal style in some parts. it only shows how talented Patrick is, he can really do anything! I'm not sure what the charts are like nowadays (no good I think) but back in the days this would have been a huge hit. it reminded me of, I don't know; simple minds, kajagoogoo, even old U2, killing joke and more names most of you might not even now. anyway: I love this and can't wait to actually dance to this on -hopefully- another tour next year!

oh gawd. That's nasty. My friends and I knock up stuff like this for fun. It's derivitive, four to the floor, Virus driven garbage, with Patrick doing that almost yelping style of singing that he tends to fall into when he's had a few. Poor show, needs to be binned. PS the guy before me thinks this sounds 80s? ?? What??? It has mid 90s cheese written all over it.

The song seems to fit quite nicely to a France gig - the background music reminds me a lot of Stardust – I really used to love the video with the boy and his model aircraft...

to be fair, it's only an opinion... albeit one worded in zurich80's usual style but an opinion all the same. this place would be pretty boring if we all agreed all the time.

zurich80 is probably one of my favourite posters. if you can't handle other people having opinions go hide under a rock, the internet is not the place for you.
this isn't even a fucking song. it's a dodgy beat with him repeating some words over the top. laaaame. get back to wandering cliffs.
