oh wow this conversation is weird... i dont think the comment was immature etc, like schadenfreude said, a bit gratituous...
but dear god that slow roasted pork sounds tasty...
also, were any of you a bit sad that patrick didnt play any new songs at palladium? i would definitly have prefered to hear time of my life than, say, vulture

I hadn't really thought of that... I guess we were all so wrapped up in the moment we didn't notice. Ah well, he's got to save the surprise for the next tour.

the new song sounded very good indeed! promising. it had quite a haunting quality to it.

I think the pig project is very interesting, and as they are merely monitoring a pig who would not die any less than if they didn't, I say go for it.

So what did the new song sound like? On similar lines as Wild Life or what?

it was a slow one! it was really nice. it had some lines from peacock skies in it (or what we knew to be peacock skies) so perhaps it was really that, or it's been reworked. eta: wow, i'm so helpful, "a slow one", "really nice"... basically, if you've heard peacock skies before, you know what i mean...

Isn't peacock skies the b-side to damaris?

isn't divine intervention an already existing patrick wolf song?
haven't I heard it before? doesn't it have a 40 minute cooldown?

I'm gonna poo. Do we know what month its due to come out? pls say January. If we're lucky, early summer. My bet's on September, though. If it's not delayed even further. Purely guessing on my part. I have no facts, but know how these things usually are. Then again, maybe it's closer to being finished than we think... It's got Peacock Skies (Instrumental Mix) as soundtrack. /t

So basically: Peacock Skies is a completely new sounding song altogether, from what I can hear in Journal One. Olympia no longer exists, as it has been fused with a few elements of Peacock Skies + is now called Divine Intervention. Phew.

Late post! ^^; I too am super excited for this album, and would like to invest in bandstocks, if possible. Any updates on release date or bandstocks?
