That's so exciting! You simply must gatecrash and give them wolflove I can't believe Mike won this week. And I got really sick of those "affluent county of Surrey" remarks... not where I'm from, mate!

Regarding Come Dine With Me, Wikipedia says:
"An element of comedy is added to the show through comedian Dave Lamb, who provides a dry and "bitingly sarcastic" narration"
BITINGLY SARCASTIC. I'M SO IN.
And...I just remembered the Heartland poster I ripped off a lamp post after the Owen Pallett show I went to. Now I feel really bad for not buying one, but I didn't want to wait in the merch line. I'm a terrible person. Sorry for technically stealing $3 from you, Owen.

I enjoy guessing what the sarcastic narrator would say about my cooking...

^ Hahaha, yeah same I'd also love to take on those contestants who're like "Vegetarian/vegan food is more like a side dish than a main..." and the veggie gets fed roast peppers stuffed with rice all week

I'm a terrible person. Sorry for technically stealing $3 from you, Owen. I did too. And I have it on my wall and whenever I look at it I feel a little pang of guilt. I bought the album, though! I didn't realize the posters were only $3 and I definitely would have wanted to wait until the end to buy it and the crowd was insane at that point, so it would have been very difficult. To be fair it's full of staple holes, and was a lot of work to get off the post without ripping it in half.

Haven't been to uni for a few months + spent all of my grant on psychotropics & expensive humous. how is that a confession? isn't that what you're meant to do as a student? Not when I've been trafficking chechen orphans in exchange for credit.

Same, Victoria. The staples were pretty awkward to get out, and mine has a bit of a rip on the side. I think we've earned our posters.
Today I was eating the best eggplant curry ever, and realized that my tendency to be attracted to Asian men is because, in a secret chamber in my brain, I want their mothers to make me food.

When i'm scared or lonely in my house I put on the radio until I feel better. It reminds me there's actually people in the world.

I do too, on full blast. Stops me thinking people are creeping around. On a similar vein, I once dreamt that everyone in the world had got turned into glass and when I woke up I stayed awake for hours because I was convinced it was real and started crying. This weren't that long ago neither...

That is scary though!
I can't bring myself to hate Kate Nash's new stuff, even though it's quite poo.

Kate Nash still exists? Urgh. She shall never win my heart. my confession is on that note (no pun intended...ha...ha...ha...)-I decided that any music I don't already listen to must be terrible if it was made after about 2005, and so I don't listen to it. And I tut and sigh at people who listen to modern things I haven't heard of. And I get angry at music tv. And I have become increasingly angry recently and I don't know why. And I am quite aware of what an arse I am but I lack the motivation to change it...

Haha god I'm slightly iffy at posting this considering Jazzy Jeff's post. But my confession is that I find it hard to do the required/recommended reading for the degree, but am currently planning an amateur just-for-fun investigation thingy trying to find out if AAVE has evolved and influenced younger rappers (Soulja Boy vs Kanye West), or if the linguistic differences are just down to intra/inter-speaker variation or musical differences. I hate that the only time-consuming work I do/interests I have are essentially abstract, why can't I just sew and make things like all the other fans Edit: Just went over on my foot. Serves me right for trying to do the dance.

i hate how much my dreams reveal about me sometimes. such as: i may have a preoccupation with preparing for a zombie attack and other less frivolous things.

Last night I dreamt that my friend purposefully touched my boob on a bus journey which turned into a yellow house. WAT.

I totally know what you mean, I even got a dream interpretation book for psychology, and it was VERY specific and had some disturbing context.. lol Rhi sexual harassment dreams scare me.

I'm not sure about dream books. Only because when they tell me what I'm thinking about they have the same level of vagueness as horoscopes. And this woman was on This Morning 'interpreting dreams' and it was the most loads of balls I have ever heard, and the people phoning in were like 'Oh, right, okay then.' hahaha.
