I had an interview with a production company yesterday. I got asked what kind of documentary-style TV I liked, but my head just kept going 'Real Housewives of NYC!'
Don't think I'll be getting the job.

I almost got hit by...at least 4 cars today. I crossed the road assuming the light was green for me, I saw people about to cross but then the cars started moving and I was alone on the crossing. And I only realized because I stepped on a guy's foot and turned to say sorry and that's when I saw the cars coming towards me (he went back to the street thingy and waited for the cars to pass). It was a really weird/scary moment. Like I was in a dream. Or nightmare. I'd gotten out of the house after staying 4 days without even getting the mail. Now I don't feel like going out ever again because I'm afraid of how out of it I was and I feel ashamed too.

Now I don't feel like going out ever again because I'm afraid of how out of it I was and I feel ashamed too. Don't be ashamed! My eyes are messed up, so sometimes I can't tell how close a car is to me. It's helped me to develop a cavalier approach to crossing the road. 'Bitch doesn't want a mussed up Bush on his driving license, he'll slow the fuck down'. Cheerio, Michael. xxx

I literally almost get run over about twice a day (despite having my Road Safety Brownie badge..) and often it's from bellends not stopping/slowing when the lights dictate so. Just go with the flow (not of the traffic, of life) Confession: I have a terrible addiction to buying books from charity shops and never reading them.

I do that too Rhi-Rhi-wind, the ones I buy tend to be weighty classics as well, so I have the book shelf of a total ponce.
Honestly I haven't read MOST of the books on my shelf, really shameful, I constantly fail to get back into the reading habit.
Getting glasses might help, much as I love language, ideas, learning and stories, I find the actual physical act of reading something of a chore (most find it pleasurable/relaxing I'd wager) cos of my awful short term memory (the curse to go with my amazing long term one I guess), poor eyesight and terrible attention span.
I USE to be able to read loads though, I read Ulysses when I was 18? What happened? The internet happened, that's what.

I'll impregnate you both. Like living in America or not-having-a-uterus would get in the way of my crack team of supersperm.

I put a white shirt over my head and stood in the doorway doing the claw-y angel pose when I heard my brother coming round the corner, and he walked right up to me because he was turned around fiddling with a loose thread on his clothes. I'm a bad person.
Don't even know why I did it really, I'm blatantly the most scared out of the four of us.

Hey tara, that's okay! I know you're a feminist and all but.. babies are so cute and sometimes being a mother is just pleasing to think about. It could always be an option, right?
Also, yes Michael and Josh! Mine aren't the classics, but i'm like 'ooh that looks good' and then fail to read it in favour of library books. Oops. Also, Josh, Rhi-Rhi-wind is possibly one of the best nicknames ever. However, i thought you meant 'wind' as in the thing that shakes leaves off trees and was thoroughly confused. Then I remembered the late 90s/early 2000s classic tune. THE CROWD SAY BO SELECTA!

Oh, I have nothing against motherhood -- nature willing, I'll get to be one myself one day. The problem is that part of me that wants to give up everything I'm doing with my life to only be a mother RIGHT NOW. Forget education and a career and all that nonsense! Bonus confession: I've wanted to have children since I was thirteen, when I had my first pregnancy dream. MY CLOCK IS TICKING.

I was ambitiously trying to get healthy in honor of my newly-adultish life.
But the temptations of canned soup are just too great.
