didn't think much of the video really, I liked the shots of them lying on the grass together, they both looked very attractive, but ultimately disappointing

Meh, I hate to say it but I'm a bit disappointed. I liked the first 25 seconds, but hated from then on until 2:00, and even then I only really liked the parts when he was alone in the forest, and lying on the ground in the white outfit. I thought the bits with the woman were a bit cringe-worthy.

Oh, yeah, the Damaris video is up ! I really like it. I think there's something very beautiful, poetical in it. I like the way it's calm, just as if they were in a kind of magic world. & some scenes are really beautiful

I love it. Yeah, it's calm, but I like the main idea.

The more I watch it, the more I want to make my own version.
Lewis and his gypsy choir and orchestra surrounding a fire, warm lighting as he sings and during the 'rise up' bit he's hitting the ground on his knees and the gypsies with their arms raised to the sky stomping their feet. I will have to storyboard it.

so much negativity towards this video. All i can say is that it's Patricks vision, and as long as he is happy with it its all that matters

I mostly really liked the video. Not such a fan of the rolling-around-on-the-floor-in-slow-motion parts, but I loved the beginning. I really like the synchronised movements with Gwen(is that right?) although I wish to God they'd found more flattering clothes and makeup, she was gorgeous in real life. Bits of it (and a lot of FATM's Dog Days, though that's irrelevant) really remind me of the original Wicker Man, I like that aspect. What I really really really wish Patrick would do for a video sometime is just learn a bit of BSL. He's so dramatic all the time onstage anyway acting out his songs with all shrugs and pointing and gestures, I just think some signing would complete it in a way. It's so cheesy but sometimes when I'm bored I sign Damaris in the bathroom and the "I wait for you/Summer spring" etc bit in the video, where they do the sign of the cross, it looks beautiful signed. I wish more artists did it. Off-topic rant over

Dam & also Dog Days are a bit Wickerman, you're right! Hahaha... So is The Decision by the Young Knives, but once again, asides the point... I love that film, it's so scary and warped.
