I must add that I have much love for Amadeus! One of my very favourite movies.
& boo-hoo etc that I won't see Patrick this time around to be on topic.

Yeah, the director's cut has at least 20 extra minutes of scenes and stuff... on topic: I get to see Patrick in Portland, Oregon in 18 days!

My friends and I have recruited two unsuspecting mothers to escort us all up to London on the train! Now we just need to wait 'till the London date is announced...

Anyone here met him yet on this tour? Does he come around and talk to people after the shows?

Man, I wonder if anyone going to Detroit will still look here... I just wonder what time I should get there. :X It's an hour and a half drive, and I should leave room for getting lost, because I tend to do that. I was whining about this to my roommate earlier as she's going with me but really doesn't care about.. anything, and I was complaining how I want there to be people there already as I hate getting to things first but not a LOT of people, because I'm short and I need to see.

Anyone here met him yet on this tour? Does he come around and talk to people after the shows? from a ferndale concert alum: he hung around the front of the venue for a few moments, about thirty minutes after the show ended, but he didn't stay for long. (long enough for my friend amanda to take a video with him! but short enough for me to have a coughing fit around the corner and miss him.)

just got back from the el rey show. i think patrick played well, but since the first time i saw him was at the troubadour... which is about a third to half the size of the el rey, i feel like something got lost in the translation. it didn't feel quite as personal, but i guess that's what happpens. regardless, i'm sad i couldn't stay afterward but i didn't want to be wandering the streets of LA alone at night because i had to get to the greyhound station. i feel like patrick might've recognized me, but then i might just be getting hopeful too. all the people there were really friendly, so that was nice too. also, i am not fond of the el rey at all as a venue itself so maybe that's it too. too bad lots of cool kids play there. there was also a bit of implication as to how SLUTTY patrick is. ok well i have been up for 21 hours and have class in 2 hours. oh joy.
i do wish he played lycanthropy setlist from what i can remember, not in order: german song thing wolf song bloodbeat pigeon song paris overture accident & emergency the bluebell / bluebells magpie w/ bishi get lost the stars tristan libertine wind in the wires jacob's ladder
encore: the magic position a boy like me
oh and bishi was also great, i should've picked up her cd but i was in a rush to get out

pearl you didn't miss out on much after. me and my friends waited for 30 min. when he came out but his manager wouldnt let him stay. patrick looked very conflicted when he couldnt and made his apologies. it was sad but i was just happy i was there to see him off.
