I just feel I should be on first name terms with him by now, he's at every gig I go to, standing around in a tea cosy hat, massive glasses, and a 1950s b-movie t-shirt. Anyway. Whinge. I severely dislike 93 Ft East. haha. i so know what you mean. he is EVERYWHERE. but he's great and i'm seeing him on tuesday so yay. but no, all this about 93 ft east caaan't be true. that place is a shithole that does not deserve the likes of patrick. is it really true? i find it extremely hard to believe. we need confirmationn

if it is all ages try the guestlist for burmese days, they're nice guys they'll let you on probably where do burmese days come into this? i must admit i'm a little lost, maybe due to skim reading. but are burmese days playing WITH patrick wolf? edit: ok, i read properly. but still, i express my surprise at a reasonably mismatched lineup in the stylee of something i'd dream then dismiss as ridiculous.

Hmmm....surely this cannot be the 'special' london date! There must be another one at the end of the tour...must be!! I hope so anyway cause i'm going to the Bristol date and getting there after London is gonna be a bit of a mission...not that i'd go if it's not gonna be a special one. </slightly disappointed but still optimistic>

Wait, so what date it the London one? The 23rd? Well at least that's on a Friday. But still.... I'm confused. Is this the actual big 'London' show?

Is this the actual big 'London' show? it won't be the 23rd, the bristol date is the 23rd and as far as i know that hasn't been cancelled maybe patrick if going to london after the bristol show and doing a dj set or something with those bands...?

I was going to say, if three bands are already playing how likely is it that he's doing an actual set, 93 Feet East don't usually have more than three bands do they? but lots of guest DJs, a DJ set would be madness but more feasible... BUT MADNESS.

I hope they hurry up and announce it and I hope it's not 18+ or I'll cry : ( I also hope its not a dj set afterwards because on the site it says on fridays it dosen't close til 1am and if patrick goes on last with a dj set I won't be able to see him or I'll miss the train home : ( This sucks ,patrick wants his gigs to be all ages,so the times he's on must be good too right ?

I have a funny feeling this won't be the "special London date." Why don't we all just wait until it's officially announced?

Because we are fickle, over-reactive and quick to upset.

Because we are fickle, over-reactive and quick to upset. Yes, that's why. And because we all want it to be announced

well, if it is 93 feet east, it could well still be a special show. If the next album is indeed electronical and atari like, wouldn't it make sense to preview it for the very first time in a venue more akin to that style of music? A nice bookend to spring from if the other side of the tour was an acoustic date.
And if Colchester is cancelled for tues 20th, London could well hit 20th/19th, especially with its proximity to Brighton on the 21st.

I spoke to Patrick's tour manager (whose name escapes me at this ungodly hour and I apologise because he is a very nice man) a few hours ago, and he said the gig will be announced sometime this week, they are still trying to finalize the venue! Let's just say you guys are very very lucky, it will be a wonderful treat!
