Was wondering if I should post my review, but I've been sort of scared out of it. don't ever be. your review was fantastic. it gave me the warm fuzzies.

if I hadn't heard any tracks from the album this review would not be helpful, therefore it is not very good.

are we forgetting that two weeks ago the Guardian/Observer literally opened Patrick's arse, climbed inside, took a couple of photographs then put them on the front page and had a double spread about his new album? And we all loved it then! Stop crying when journalists disagree.
I wonder how much space he was actually allocated in the paper, I've not read today's but if I remember rightly the Guardian has about 6 CD reviews on about half a page, so they're all going to be short, and I don't want to say concise but I'm going to say, concise.
I thought Patrick Wolf fans and Guardians would go hand in hand!

I don't mind the review needing to be short if it needs to be, but you'd think he could have at least talked about the album, rather than just tagging on a few words about it at the end! To be honest, that really didn't count as a 'review' of anything. Must try harder!
