Thanks horrorshock666, for alerting us to the problem of ClickAndBuy ripping us all off. As if it wasn't shit enough... No worries... I've been pretty upset myself with the problems i've had with all of this and hopefully once i get the CD (whenever that is now) and send an email my account will be deleted. I want nothing else to do with Click&Buy. It's the first time i've ever had problems buying things off the internet and its put me off a little now, which is a shame. Ah well... I know not to use them in the future if the option comes up.

ahh i had to use my mum's card for click and buy so i've got no way of tracking anything apart from saying something which might freak her out completely and say that's the reason she doesn't shop on the internet in the first place. dammmmn. YAY album release day though.

If you got the emails sent to your address though, all you do is copy and past your customer number thing and say you want it deleted, so you don't need to tell her really aha

I may have been hasty as I already sent an email but I think it takes them a few ways to sort it. But I'm guessing now that my payment has gone through them, it's now reached Bandstocks and is hopefully nothing to do with Click and Buy anymore.
I want my CD now!

Downloading the album right now! Can't wait to listen to it in full! Out of curiosity now this album is released... Are people going to invest in the next album if it's done through Bandstocks again? Absolutely. This was exciting to be a part of, to help Patrick. I'd do it again. EDIT: Okay... just been looking on the Click&Buy website, and it seems there are some things which people may not know about and which i didn't know about. So here goes incase you've not looked: Maintenance fee for inactive accountsWhen your account has been inactive for more than 12 months and contains valid funds we need to charge a monthly maintenance fee. If you do not wish to be charged a fee you can reactivate your account by performing a purchase, funding or a withdrawal.1.00 GBP (per month) Hmm... This doesn't seem too great does it? BUT i also found this: If you want to cancel your membership, just send us an email, indicating your customer number. service@uk.clickandbuy.comHopefully that was a help to some of you. I'm glad i looked actually, knowing my luck i would have left it and not ever realised the money was going every month. Oh shit, thanks for sharing that! Once the CD arrives I shall be canceling my account. That's lame. They need to find someone else to use (Paypal please!) before the next album, if Patrick goes this route again.

Bandstockholders will still get a percentage of profits from The Bachelor. It's all explained in the deal (called the Investment Memorandum) when you applied for the Bandstocks, but the gist of is that all the Bandstockholders together get 30% of the net profits from the album, but without first deducting the £100k fund - and yes we did close the fund at the full £100k target. You can get a really rough idea of what this might mean at various sales levels by using the "calculator" on the Explore page of Bandstocks - to save you doing all the maths - but please remember this is just meant to be a general guide - not something we can guarantee. The actual amount you get back is based on proper audited filed company accounts for Battleco which all Bandstockholders will get a copy of (but not for a while - the accounts go to the year end in December and we need 3 months after that for the beancounters to do their stuff - so we are looking at next March) so it will be very transparent and clear how the calculations have been done.
One other question we saw on the boards just now was about the bit rate for the bandstockholders' free download. It is 320 kbps which as far as we know is the highest quality available and compares with (we think) the 256 kbps rate that you would get for a paid download on i-tunes or amazon - but we are not the techies so if someone knows better, please don't shoot us down in flames, just let us know and we will correct that statement.
To everyone who has been frustrated by click and buy, this is just to say we are working on an alternative and hope to have more news about this in a day or two. We are still holding a special edition for every Bandstockholder so please don't panic. They will not run out yet and we will send an e-mail around to warn you when the last orders do need to come in.
Sorry if people have been frustrated by the download thingy - it does work - just make sure you enter the secret code - which we couldn't possibly tell you on here, but it is a word followed by your bandstocks user ID number. If any of you are having trouble logging in, you can still find your user ID on the address bar at the top of your screen when you are on your own bandstocks account page - it says user=1234 or whatever. (you can find your account page without logging in either by clicking on your icon in the investor mosaic or by entering your "Name" (i.e. the one that apppears on your account page, not your log in name) in the search bar at the top of the homepage. If you have e-mailed asking for log in details we will get back to you asap.
Thank you to the kind person who pointed out the typos on the download page - these have been fixed now.
And finally, we hope this doesn't sound like some horrible sales pitch, but as for the pricing of the special editions, the truth is we didn't do our sums properly before settling on the £15 Vat inclusive price (Sir Alan would not have been impressed) - it is actually a very expensive booklet and if we had done our sums properly first we might have ended up having to price it slightly higher - anyway teamwolf decided £15 was enough to pay and we agree so there it is. If you bought a bandstock you will see exactly how much profit there is in the special editions when you get your accounts: and 30% of it will be for the bandstockholders.
We are taking on board all of the various frustrations that appear in these message boards and will try to keep improving Bandstocks and if Patrick lets us work with him again on The Conqueror, will hopefully have ironed out all the problems by then. Whoever said it has been a learning curve is dead right.
Best wishes,
Bandstocks.

i'm sending a mailout today with regards to the bandstocks limited edition that explains there is a minor delay... i hope you all won't be too disappointed but there is a good reason for it.. i wanted mine next week too, though.[/quote] Was this mailout sent out because I can't remember seeing it, but it may be that I just didn't receive it. Would it have been from Bandstocks or from Team Wolf? Just wondering if there is any clue as to how long the delay will be and how long we'll have to wait for the album?

Just wondering if there is any clue as to how long the delay will be and how long we'll have to wait for the album? It was the regular mailing list (not bandstocks), and a few people (like myself) didn't get it for unknown reasons, but this is what it said about the album: Limited edition update & Bandstocks free album download
We’re ever so sorry, but due to a technical error in the factory making all the lovely copies of the limited editions, things are not looking quite as good as they should be. They will be working hard over the weekend to repress the job and get things up to scratch. What this means is, if you have pre-ordered a limited edition of The Bachelor from Bandstocks, you will find that it will arrive a little later than expected. We are hoping to get them all out to you by the end of next week.
Also, all Bandstockers will receive their link to the free album download at midnight on Sunday 31st May.

Sorry - just read a few more posts and we are a bit worried by all this use of the past tense e.g. "I got nothing out of it". What you get as a Bandstockolder really only started a week yesterday when the Bandstocks were issued - before that you were just Bandstocks applicants, now you own Bandstocks so the deal is just beginning not ending. We account to you for 5 years from today, the release day of The Bachelor, there will be other special offers and Patrick will also be getting in touch to offer priority booking for shows and maybe some more real one -offs. So please bear with us until 1st June 2014 before deciding you got nothing out of it.
Best wishes,
Bandstocks

Hard Times: new video, single information & remixes
The brand new video for Patrick’s upcoming single premiered exclusively on NME.com this week, you can view it directly by clicking here.
Patrick had this to say about his experience of making the video with Ace Norton over in the states:
For me this video is my homage to two of my biggest heroes, Elvis Presley and Klaus Nomi. I always wondered what both of those geniuses would be doing if they were both still with us. Elvis and Klaus were some of the greatest radical visionaries the world has ever seen, never forget them. This is my first music video shot outside of the United Kingdom, filmed all on Pier 52, I think, on Manhattan Island, a couple of piers down from the home of Studio 54. The outfit I am wearing was made by my long term collaborator Ada Zanditon out of bin bags from Whitechapel Market in London flown to New York in its own suitcase at great excess baggage cost. It was an absolute mind altering experience working with Ace Norton, This guy is definitely the Michel Gondry of my generation. I cant wait to collaborate with him and his amazing team in the future. Big love to all the dancers, make up artists and performance artists in the video, to Charles Manning for making the costumes for my army and to Marvin for making this all happen for me and my hard times song.
Those of you hankering for a higher quality version of the video will be pleased to know that Team Wolf have also uploaded the stunning footage over at Vimeo.com and on Patrick’s very own Youtube channel, here. Do click that HD button!
The single bundle for Hard Times will be released digitally via the usual outlets on July 6, but you can buy the single song now on iTunes by clicking here.
There’s also an exclusive download of Alec Empire’s smashing remix of Hard Times over at rcrdlbl.com, you can get your paws on it here! Be sure to turn it up.
Radio 1
Immediately after the London show on Monday 1st June, Patrick will be donning his Vulture cape and flying to Radio 1 to join Nick Grimshaw on his first late night show as he takes over from Colin Murray. Patrick will be live in the studio from 11:20ish, or however quickly his cape can get him there…
Pre-show, people can join the fun in Nick’s Waiting Room from 8pm where he’ll be talking to friends on Facebook, Bebo and Twitter. He will then be live on air from 10pm to midnight with loads of great music and talking in between.
Please show your love for Patrick and get your messages in!

That’s about it for now, but stay tuned for another update very shortly from all of us at Wolf HQ… Please keep posting your thoughts and comments on the website, Myspace, and the forum - we love hearing from you.
Lots of love,
Team Wolf xEDIT: This was originally sent Friday, May 29.
