Thanks for posting! This was great, I really enjoyed reading it. And I'm sorry to be almost immature here, but wait, what? Damnnn. But he doesn't have a song about that? Wasn't 'The Childcatcher' about that?

The track-by-track is fantastic. It really gives the album perspective. I didn't realise there was a narrative arc and such juxtaposition in it. I'm glad I read it and I'm sure I'll re-read it dozens of times in the near future.

I just now realised this was here. I'm glad to find this, as I did think it was in the Special Edition box set, and it turned out not to be. At least it's been made available now. Such a wonderful thing to read! He tells such interesting stories with his music, and it's nice to see the depth of them. I wish more artists were like that. I'd love to see what Tori Amos meant by a good chunk of her music, haha. There are some she's talked about, but a lot she hasn't, but that's kind of getting off subject. I really, really love the story to Damaris. That song gets such a deeper meaning when you know where it came from. Thanks for the post! But he doesn't have a song about that? Wasn't 'The Childcatcher' about that? And yes. Yes, it was.

Nice to read what the song means, and it's nice to know that your own interpretations wasn't that far fetched.

I sat here for a while thinking if I want to read it or not, scrolled down it and saw some words and sentences(nothing specific) and decided I don't want to read through it.
Am I the only one? :S Nothing against Patrick telling about his songs+the possible stories there but there's just something about the album that I don't want to have the way I see it and feel it to have any "real" stories. Usually I don't mind reading such and don't mind if artist's own explanations don't mix with mine but... dunno. Gut feeling I don't want to know.

The duet with Eliza Carthy on The Bachelor is with the violins right? Who SINGS alternately with Patrick of this track? It sounds more like a masculine voice to me!
