True, they did say that, but I didn't buy Bandstocks solely for getting special access to things. I thought it was a rip-off back then too! Ha, so did I! But then I thought it was just a signed album and not all special and boxed and whatnot, so I've bought it.... Apparently I can't get away with paying less than $30 for a Patrick Wolf album. This is the fourth haha. If The Conqueror comes out in special edition I'm sure I'll buy that too. Really, though, regular albums usually cost around $20 nowadays so spending an extra $10 or so for the special edition isn't that bad.

Thanks! I will e-mail them True, they did say that, but I didn't buy Bandstocks solely for getting special access to things. I thought it was a rip-off back then too! I do agree that £30 would have been VERY expensive! But to be honest, i have paid over £15 for an album before anyway, special edition's that is, and in this case with it being signed and everything i think its actually a reasonable price. And i also didn't sign up for the special things, but its nice that in recognition for buying a stock we get things like this ;D (When i say get, i mean get the offer of things like this).

Victoria and horrorshock...all true...I kind of have a feeling once I am able to login I will give in and buy it. I will regret it too much if I don't! But then I absolutely MUST not buy a t-shirt or something when I see his show in June.
Make me promise I won't!! xD

Make me promise I won't!! xD I can't help you there i'm afraid. I'll be seeing him soon, and i'm pretty skint now (especially after buying it twice on accident and now waiting to be payed back for one of the copies) so i'll be trying to promise myself the same thing. Look at it this way though, if you buy it now, you know you get it for the price it is at now... but what if you want it in the future and have to pay more to buy it from an auction site or some other form of online shop?

Is anyone else who got over-charged having a hard time getting their money back? I contacted the company directly (presumably the company bandstocks contacts) and they are looking into it, because their database tells them that they've charged me once when they certainly haven't. this is very bad because it's taken all the money out of my account which was for food this week

I am so sick with Click&Buy !! I only got the one and only credit card from my friend, which is a Mastercard, and after i filled in all the information, Click&Buy said that due to some technical problems Mastercard cannot be used !!!!!!!!!!! If Mastercard cannot be used why did they even give it as an option for customers ??!!!!!
Why don't they stick with PureGroove as the last time??? I live so far far away but still purchased my Vulture with ease with PureGroove !!

Talk directly to your bank and have them reverse the charges. Though you might run in to a bit of trouble if you didn't use a credit card, which is another reason to have one. Easier to dispute charges. But you'll probably have more luck with your bank.

littlecreamsoda:
I had no problem at all. I only send an email to Click&Buy (didn't get an answer though.)
I just checked my bank account and I got the money back. When sites or places overcharge you, you often get your money back after 3 days. (At least in sweden.)

To everyone who has had trouble or have been overcharged, i sent an email to Bandstocks telling them i had ordered twice (which i just learnt i hadn't, but apparently was charged twice for the one order), Bandstocks then sent Click&Buy the email, and they looked into it and said i had only bought the one.
When i looked at my bank statement again, the money had gone back in. So all i can think is what isilme said is correct and that if you have been overcharged, the money should be back in soon or after a certain amount of time.

I managed to buy (without a credit card!).
But I wondered about this part of the bandstocks deal: "For each Bandstock fan investors get: ... A credit on the first run of albums produced and a credit on the website"
Is this really happening? Have bandstockkers been asked who wants a credit and who doesn't? Did I miss that? I mean how can the album be already sold when this is not sorted?

I invested through TWIN and cannot seem to find a way to order the album. My Bandstock ID won't let me order it and all the information I received from TWIN has no mention of an ID number or promo code... any help?

I'm another one getting the message: "An error occurred communicating with the merchant website. Please try again later or contact the provider as purchase is temporarily unavailable."
I have tried so many times I feel like crying from frustration.

apparently it always has difficulties with mastercard. No idea why. If you're using mastercard it's worth trying another card.
