Rowdy Superstar is the supporting act in Bristol and Amsterdam. Does he do the whole tour with Patrick?

I remember 'The Deer Tracks' played last year in Frankfurt. I have to say, that ROWDIE is more than a thousand times better than those strange creatures. Booh, i didn't like them. -.-

Actually I really enjoyed Deer Tracks back then. Rowdy was painfully awful.

I really liked Rowdy Superstar when I saw him in Dublin (plus he seems like a lovely guy after seeing him with fans afterwards) But it's interesting that Patrick chose him as the support act for this particular tour. I've only noticed now in comparison to how Patrick keeps stressing that this tour/album is about the music and NOT about being a showman... I guess he just wants to get Rowdy's name out there as a friend and wanted to pump up the crowd too Maybe it was a deliberate ''clash'' too... I guess if you saw ''Bachelor Era'' Patrick supported by Rowdy, to me it would make more sense. To some maybe ''too much''. Then again if he had had a sombre acoustic support act instead. I'd probably find fault in that too But in general some artists can get their support so wrong...

Although Rowdy repeated his stage moderation in every city, it was a very amusing and glittering SHOW! His music will never touch me like Patricks does, but he made me laugh during his performance and it was real fun to join him! I like him and i think, that Rowdie is a 'good guy'.

I guess he just wants to get Rowdy's name out there as a friend and wanted to pump up the crowd too Maybe it was a deliberate ''clash'' too... Maybe it was important for Patrick to stress that he wasn't going to put on a big show but that it was really about his music. Yet there's nothing wrong with chosing a support that makes a bit of a show live. I think you have to differ between the two. Rowdy's music works well with the performence and to me it seems fitting to put up a little show to those beats. You're probably right about Patrick's reasons to pick Rowdy as support, though. And I think it worked quite well. Personally I had no idea what to expect since I had never heard of Rowdy before and I never took the time to search some music of him before the concert. I was a little shocked when the heavy base startet, but grew to like it very soon. It was really fun. I don't know, is it just me or are the beats heavier when he's playing live?

Please don't get me wrong. I don't have anything negative to say against Rowdy as a person. It is just the music that, for my taste, was horrible as I don't like rap music at all. His show was, well... interesting, even a bit entertaining. But after the first song it wasn't that much entertaining for me anymore. It was just too much.

I absolutely love Rowdy ! I love him even more after what he did in Warsaw He is an amazing performer and he is so nice too ! I don't think I have ever liked a support act as much as this ! I was so sad when after the gig I realised that it's the end of the tour with Rowdy
