Heck yes! And I don't even need a return on it. Make that 'investment' a 'donation' please.

You know as much I think The Bachelor is an amazing album, one of Patrick's best and I am very, very proud to have my name in the sleeve notes, I don't believe I have seen enough 'reward' for the investment to warrant my investing again.
Bandstocks is a fantastic idea, in theory but then so are lots of ideas but like others have said, it needs work. As fans and investors we were promised so much (exclusive this and exlusive that) however all I have ever been offered is the chance to purchase more and more items..tickets a few days before the general public, a limited edition t-shirt etc but where were all the invites to watch Patrick record in the studio? Thankfully the Spinster EP problem has now been resolved but I do believe the whole concept needs looking at before people are asked to invest again. After all, what have I gained that I wouldn't have got if I'd just bought the album normally? well, the answer to that is..nothing, bar my name in the sleeve. I'd still think the album was amazing had a bought it in a record shop. Another factor to look at is that a lot of Patrick fans are teenagers with little money. Although I am in my mid-twenties and have a job, many of Patrick's fans might not have that money or have to ask their parents to spend that money. To be honest, they haven't got much in return.

Yes, i think I probably would, but on the understanding that things would run a bit smoother communication-wise next time around. I'm personally very happy with how the album/bandstocks experience turned out, but I know that the lack of communication regarding the Spinster EP put a few noses out of joint. Also, i think that "Battle" getting split into two albums could have been handled far better - I didn't know that the album I had invested in wasn't going to be a double album anymore until I found an article on another website, and to my recollection us investors never received an email telling us about the change, or clarifying whether we had invested in both albums, or just the Bachelor. It's just not a smart way to treat investors from a business perspective, even though we are all fans and it's not really about the money.
Anyway, those grumbles aside, I'm sure that next time around the process will be smoother for everyone, and I'm looking forward to investing in the next one!

Just because I'm curious, what exactly are we paying for with our investment money? Last time around, the money presumably went to the whole process of finishing The Bachelor, studio costs, sustenance for Patrick, things needed for touring and in the end, I assume also the merch and actually putting out the record(s). However, this time around the album seems to be pretty much done or at least a good bit on the way and already pretty much paid for with money from The Bachelor funding (I assume, at least, since there isn't a Conqueror funding yet.). So, are we paying for JUST manufacturing costs and touring (which should generate income anyway) and the rest is pure profit or are there things I'm missing here? I mean, of course there will be other costs as well, but in general, there should be more money left at the end of the day?
That said, I like the Bandstocks idea and as long as I'm promised a good album in the end (I assume there'll be snippets later on), then sure, I'd happily donate a little bit to get it finished. But, like I've said earlier, it would be nice with some more exclusives for investors. I know what I'm paying for, but just some small things would be a nice gesture. Especially when we all know how much money was raised. Free exclusive poster and set of badges or something not too costly?

It seems plain to me. We, the fans, all have our own musical wants and needs ,which the big record labels might think are too much of a minority to invest in, thinking purely of returns on investment, not good music. Now Patrick inhabits quite a unique position in the industry at the moment, and this past year it has been largely because of all the fans investing in him through bandstocks. It would seem a shame to back off from investing more in him, if by investing, we could elavate him a little bit higher upon the rungs of the music world. I don't think any amount of investing will silence that dweeb perez hilton, and it probably wont even get him to change his tune about Patrick, but it would give us a more assured bet at hearing lots of new tunes from Patrick, which is what i guess we really all care about on this board. :)x

I'll sooo invest in The Conqueror, it just sounds like a mash-up of crazygoodness. Patrick + top dance producers, YES PLEASE. I get why people are worried about him losing his musical integrity but I'm sure it'll be fantastic. MORE TILDA SWINTON.

I'd definitely invest again; I still think it's a really exciting thing to be involved with, and it was worth it for the gorgeous limited edition alone And voilathestars (sorry, don't know your name!), I loved The Bachelor too! It might even be my favourite...

Will we get future benefits if we only invested in The Bachelor? I'm a bit miffed that I bought two at once. I am selfish.
