Someone on twitter says that two girls got into a fight and Patrick had them removed, so perhaps that could explain the myspace comments, possibly. Still confused about the spitting though .

re. sf stuff, i left right after the show so i have no clue what happened. however, that will not keep me from typing shit on the internet!
in the second song of the set there was some weird fight or something happening front row, patrick said stop the music and he went on this rant, and all i heard was "she's scratching me!" and it was really rude and pathetic. (later in the song he was standing on the moniter and it tipped over and he fell, and i was worried that the combination of the two things would put him in a foul mood, but no not at all he rocked). i didn't notice any spitting then, so i don't think the bouncer incident was in regards to that. during the encore like a dozen kids from the audience got on stage and danced etc, and i can see how that might piss of the bouncers, and they might have said something after the show, but i don't think so. after the show, he said he was gonna head over to the eagle (a bar just down the block) and invited everyone to come join and dance & drink, and i reckon that's where shit went down.
then re. the overzealous cop, everyone says the sf police overstep their lawful boundries, but i've never actually heard of that happening (but what do i know) its actually that's mostly just the faux-po (like the BART police, and the MUNI police) who make up laws and draw (&fire!) weapons with very little provocation.
so: i have no idea what happened. i'm sure we'll hear the story eventually. i hope it doesn't affect his work visas, or his (possible) plan to come to sf for an extended period.

There is some really hateful stuff being written about Patrick in the comments on the NME story right now: www.nme.com/news/patrick-wolf/45223This makes me very sad. I thought the comments were supposed to be moderated. NME sort it out!

I thought the comments were supposed to be moderated. NME sort it out! that sort of just shows the kind of people who read NME and follow it like it's some kind of opinion worth listening to. ...my hate for NME is showing, i apologise if some people on here like NME. i wish i hadn't read those comments they've made me really angry

Akon? Hehe... ah Patrick, you crack me up.
Left a comment on the NME thing, don't know if it'll make it rhough the mods there though.
leastat03 Ah, I see we've seen quite the degree of reasoned maturity and considered reactions to a situation none of us know the truth of. Nice.
Spitting at somone is very unpleasant, true, but to wish someone a kicking for it? Indicative of idiocy. Worse still to condone their shooting, or using as an excuse to slag off their music or taste in clothing. If you don't like his music, clothing or personality, live with it. Christ knows, if I was to kick up such a fuss about the tossers who produce the kind of shit I have to listen to on the radio or at work dailly, I'd never stop.
Anyway, why the hell is NME reporting on some musicians twitter? Haven't they got any real music news?
