Earlier I had this huge urge to listen to the entirety of Wind in the Wires. Maybe it's something to do with the 'huge' character of the new album, hide away from it ... 'I see a small house, built on the sea ...'
Does anyone else get that sometimes ? x

Yes. I love the whole Cornwall reference - I wasn't a fan at the time it was released so I don't know anything behind this but It just makes me wanna drive down there all by myself, walk for days in a dream state and sing and dance on cliffs. I also randomly get 'itchy feet' (where I want to go traveling) and I just listen to the album and it does 2 things: 1) makes it worse, or 2) I find I can put everything I feel into words and there so cure myself. But yeah, definatly favourite album.

Yeah, i really understand what you mean. I think though, for me its not a case of hiding from the new album or whatever, but more that WITW has a very special place in my heart and helped me through difficult times, so in that sense i always turn to it when i need a little lift.
I think its quite strange actually, how an album some people see as being rather depressing and melancholy, can be such an uplifting album for me. Its more that it frees you and transports you to a new place i think, and the fact that in lots of way i can really understand and feel what he is singing because i have felt that way many times.
If that makes sense. (Oh gosh, ive gone on too long again)
Bye Jake! (Love the new MS pics too, and can't wait for the EP)

It's my go to album when I'm forced to take trains...it's easy to listen to, and feels as though it should always be listened to in it's entirety

When i was on a 6 hour journey for a university visit WITW along with Sigur Ros' new album fitted so well with the scenery as i was going.

Yeah, in a way I always used to think of it as my 'least favourite' of the three albums, but I've had the urge to listen to it a lot recently. It certainly reminds me of old times.
