Isn't Beach Blanket Babylon the place that Rex from Big Brother owned? Or his Father did? Bit of crap trivia there...

Rex's father owns BBB and runs it with his partner.

Does anyone know what happened at BBB last night ? There seems to be a few comments on Patrick's MySpace saying stuff like 'They had no right to do that to do at BBB', etc. Anyone go / know what may have happened ? :/ x

all i can think of that the person on the myspace might be referring to is that they pulled the plug of the soundsystem at 00.45 when pw was actually supposed to dj until 1.. but he didn't seem upset about it. also, when some people wanted to take pictures with him after his set when the club was meant to close, security shooed both him and the fans out of the club, which was a little harsh, i guess. but i didn't see anything else happen other than the usual rude behaviour of security.
also, the new songs pw played were: vulture (3 times) hard times (which got a fierce makeover) a song i've never heard before that i think might be called battle who will

Me and Liz were there too but we could only stay till 11, but we still got to hear Hard Times and Vulture. And we got a hello and an enthusiastic wave from him and met lots of drag queens. It was so fun.

Someone on Bandstocks said something about not being allowed in unless on the guestlist, and a sarcastic 'thanks' on the end - maybe they turned up late or something so couldn't get in?
Who knows!

it only got very busy after 11pm, and to get "guaranteed entry" you had to be there until 9.30, so if people have turned up after 11pm it's their own fault.

Huh. That comment was all kinds of rude. Someone commented on the myspace bulletin posted yesterday because they were upset he announced it so late. (If only they had looked on here). Anyway....so he played Vulture 3 times?! It must be good haha What else did he play, besides himself?

Well, only hearing 40 minutes of his set, I'm not the best person to answer, but I do remember Kate Bush songs...haha, that's all I can add/remember!
