Is that the effect of pitch shifting then? It just sounds like a sped-up, slightly higher-pitched vocal than either House or Mercia. Like his vocal range has changed completely since it was recorded. Even higher than the first EP and Lycanthropy vocal style

Yes, I notice it now. When you pitch-shift a track it usually adds a some-what irritating noise in the background and I think I can hear it (alas, only lightly). You can certainly hear the difference in production in comparison to Lupercalia. I am still a little annoyed that Patrick didn't add more Dulcimer sounds to Lupercalia, you can hear a Hammered Dulcimer on this track, and it sounds wonderful! ;D

And also, Toronto was destroyed in a similar fashion last year during the G-20/8 conference... We're back to normal now but it was horrible seeing everything ruined [mostly by people who don't live here, therefore don't care] To non-Canadians: don't worry, riots are VERY rare, even though it doesn't seem like it haha I think the G20 protests were far more important, this rioting was over a football game (or something along those lines)...How pathetic can humans actually be? I'll just be clear: The riots had nothing to do with protesting. There were plenty of protests during the G20 and they were fine and peaceful. . . the riots were about breaking things and stealing stuff, not politics.

We had peaceful protests in London...and riots.

Yeah, exactly. My initial comment was more about the general shittiness of seeing your city being destroyed.

Does anybody in the U.K. know if they are selling physical releases in shops? I tried to get a copy of the Bachelor when it was released (from HMV) and they did not have any copies, it may be different now Patrick is on a major label.
(Also: 'Gay' Marriage in New York)

I've seen Patrick's CDs in HMV and Fopp loads of times, I haven't looked for Lupercalia but I'm sure I remember seeing The Bachelor in HMV as soon as it was released. Maybe it was just the one you were in that didn't have it? I'm sure HMV/Fopp would have Lupercalia. If there's more than one where you live maybe you could try looking in them all I have actually seen Lupercalia in a second hand CD shop on Wednesday I think it was, strange seeing as its only just released.

I may go to the city centre on Monday, they will probably have it there as it is Manchester. I may try and find this 'fopp' you speak of , I know there is one somewhere in Manchester. Also, do not trust the rumors about Manchester being a very 'cultural' city, It's as desolate as post-apocalyptica. Actually, I remember buying The Magic Position in HMV in Cambridge around 2009.

I expected the digital and physical release to be 'later this year', glad that's not totally the case. "Team Wolf" should probably bother to make an announcement about this, I wouldn't have noticed at all if I didn't read this...
