Hate to sound naiive but this is such a strange concept. I've never heard of a strictly UNDERAGE gig before... just 18+ (21+etc depending on where you're at) or All Ages. Hrmmmm Isn't the idea to open it up for everyone? That's just as bad as 18+... (I suppose there's the safety element etc, but nonetheless...)

Im undecided whether to go... id have to travel to london by train that day which takes just over an hour.. then there is the problem of finding somewhere to stay. But id LOVE to see Patrick spin his stuff...hmmmm
i sent a message to Underage Club's Myspace. They replied saying that you can be over 18, but no alcohol will be served, oh well, im sure ill enjoy a bottle of that apple juice that guys got on the poster!

i cant believe it starts at 6pm and finishes at 11pm... im normally not even out by then! i suppose it has to if its the underage club.
If the tickets are free i bet there is gonna be a MEGA queue by the time i get there, which probably means i would have travelled all the way to London for nothing...
does anyone know the capacity of this place??

Hang on, if this is on the 23rd. That would make it the penultimate Boombox ever? What a cop out...

I think the Canadians are going because we're stuck in London and may as well go out and dance and I may get drunk. Maybe. This'll be fun! We get to see all the 14 year olds fighting to dance in front of Patrick. I may flash some side boob to beat them. HA!

I wish I could go to this but I've already said I would go to a friend's Christmas party even though I would much rather go to this with some friends, Gareth Pugh AND Patrick, it would have been great, sigh.

Boombox people, even though it's free, they can only let so many people in, so they generally stop letting people in at about 10-11 depending on the night. so get there early.

Twas a good dancing time. I felt really awkward for being a decade older than most of the kids. Patrick performed/lip synced a new song and previewed two other new songs. He "played" a lot of the songs on my danse mix...haha.
ps. that guy dressed in drag was awesome. pps. I have a video of the new song he performed/lip synced.

I have a video of vulture. I think I prefer the live versions I heard this week, but it really is a great song. The one he played after that was great as well, a little less dancy though. The one he 'performed' was a lot of fun and I danced the whole way through. It was awkward being so much older than everyone else at the club, but whatevs , it was worth it. Awkwardness is alright sometimes.
Great last night in London (or at least in the city...might be at the airport for Christmas haha)
p.s. feel like an idiot for trying to figure out if the guy on before Patrick was actually Patrick. They looked similar from a distance and he was playing some Patrick-esque music. Only really realized it wasn't Patrick when real Patrick walked in. haha. Then I spent the rest of the night thinking "why did I think that guy was Patrick? He looks nothing like Patrick?" The guy's name was Matt something...I forget what Patrick said when he introduced him.
