I'll be there at 6.
Wearing: Either red or black skinny jeans with a red hoodie and a striped shirt underneath. White leather converses. And a purple, blue and yellow scarf.
Though i am quite volatile with clothing so it may change.
Feel free to say hi!

A Paddy Wolf gig is Xmas. The glitter! The lights! The joyful and not so joyful songs! The shower of glitter as snow! The merchandise as presents to yourself! Bah, i was going to get my hair recut today so its actually in a style. But things came up... pooh. It is really nice to see idols on stage. It is! Better than Guy Sebastian anyday.

It's the morning after and the Sydney show was amazing. The opening song was Wind in the Wires, and it was one many highlights. Bloodbeat, A Boy Like Me, The Magic Position, Tristan, and a super-fast rendition of The Libertine, all had the crowd going off. At one stage Patrick threw himself on the ground like James Brown, later he tried to stand on the bass drum and ended up sprawled all over the kit hugging the drummer. In the last song he climbed to the top of the speaker stack like some rock god. It was pretty extraordinary. This was the first time I've seen Patrick play live, I don't know if every show is like that. The band was great, too. I knew what to expect because of seeing Youtube videos from ...errm... Canada or something, but it was still good to hear how it came together. I usually hate live music, it ends up making me like artists less after I see them live, but I made an exception for this and was not disappointed! The show was being filmed professionally - one camera locked off near the mixing desk and two hand-held ones near the front of the stage.

Oh! It was the most amazing night of my life. I sit here typing with four hours of sleep and I can barely move my head. Sorry if my account seems bumbly.
My friends and I got there rather early and we were glad because we got a prime position right in front of Patrick in the centre. We were waiting to see Patrick come because we had some delicious French cupcakes for him and his band. His band arrived but we didn't really know what to say to them so we just said hello and they seemed nice. Then when Patrick arrived in a taxi, he was running really late so I only had time to give him the cupcakes and a hug and he recognised me and said "its so nice to see you again!" and was so smiley and cute.. and he had all this noticeable foundation on his face. My two friends with me were so shocked by his presence that they didn't move from their seat the whole time!
I felt sick, headachey and had sore feet before he came on but as soon as I saw him enter the stage I was just beaming from head to toe and I couldn't take the smile of my face the whole night. I cried quite a bit too because it was so overwhelming. And this morning in my art exam I was just smiling all the way through thinking about it.
In one part he came and jumped in the crowd, right where my friends and I were. And he was shirtless and so everyone was hugging him and I was right next to him doing the same. And at one point as he was singing Tristan, my head was right next to his singing along and he was staring right into my eyes with this beautiful smile on his face. And several times his crutch was right in my face.. I will admit, it did come in contact with my hand on several occasions. And with everyone else, we were just all hugging and touching his torso, it was crazy! When he was pulled out I realised I had lost my friend and then I looked down and he had been standing on her head (in his high heeled black shoes!).
Then at one point he reached out the crowd and grabbed my hand and looked me in the eyes and said "thank you for the cupcakes" and I almost died. Then towards the end he reached out and grabbed my hand again and was singing into my eyes. I was just smiling so much. And the crowd was amazing too, everyone had so much love for him and weren't rude or pretentious and were having so much fun.
That's all I can remember so far. But it was truly amazing. I was hysterical afterwards and I got his set list. I can't wait for Sunday now!!
And thank you so much to those who posted links! And he did a lot of dance moves with his fingers pointed (thus that picture posted above) which would have looked daggy if your dad was doing it, but was wonderful with Patrick.
I wonder what those people were filming for. This one guy kept filming me and my friends and I am utterly embarrassed because I don't want that footage to EVER be public.
Sorry for the length.

The best show i have every been to. So intimate, so much fun and alot of physical contact with patrick himself.
outlawtheowl: pretty sure i was either right behind you to either of your sides.
Anyways, he is a stunning performer. Everything was so uplifting and crazy i just wished it would go through the entire morning.
Highlights for me: Tristan, A Boy Like Me and Bloodbeat. Oh just everything really.
bah, headache. continuing later.

Then at one point he reached out the crowd and grabbed my hand and looked me in the eyes and said "thank you for the cupcakes" and I almost died. Ah so you were the one with the cakes. When i heard him say that i thought wow that persons oh so lucky! I was with some friends of mine and the Sydney show was delightful, euphoric and um, spectacular. So much energy! I had Feathers in my hair and a yellow blouse i made listening only to Patrick for 4hours whilst stitching it together. I met some lovely people. And everyone at the gig looked amazing. In the alley, lining up i was impressed at the colour. Its so good, i've still got a buzz! by the way does anyone know where i can purchase some photos and or video footage of the show?!

Hey outlawtheowl, sounds like an amazing show on Thursday, it would've made it so special to have that little bit of the show that was just for you! I'll see you at the Corner tomorrow, I guess. Look out for the person studying like crazy for his exam the next morning at 9.00 I'll look a little something like this: [I'm the one in the stripey jumper, by the way ;D]

Outlowl - That's pretty damn neat.......perhaps apart from crotch action. I'll be hyper, very nervous, and probably speaking Swedish to my friend. I'll look pretty much like the picture below. Will also be asking everyone if they're from the forum. Gold ribbon, anyone?

Just got back home from Brisbane. Last afternoon was amazing. Oh hell i was over the moon, I got emotional and actually cried with joy.
I got annoyed though, He had two fans those fans came all the fricken way from Tasmania just to see him and hopefully meet him! They went to both of his brisbane shows.
After the matinee gig, they waited patiently for a long while in a freezing cold back street. The band came out and they were all so lovely it was very sweet of them to chat with the fans. Patrick eventually came out. Just a small group of fans waited in the side street hoping for a photo or an autograph including me. I was wearing shorts so i must say i was really freezing my tits off.
But he just said sorry and went in the van. I was rather shocked, Those Girls Faces.
I wasn't too fussed, I got enough kicks from the show. But when a fan travels great distances, Sits in the freezing cold street for a long time and has the risk of gaining piles from the cold concrete you owe it to those fans to give them a minute of your time.
Girls if your reading this i'm sorry i couldn't join you for a post Patrick Dinner last night. Thankyou for the offer though you's are terribly Gorgeous. it's so fricken nice to know that theres other fans out there who will go out of there way for such an artist. One day soon i will go to Tasmania just to see you's, we'll have a dinner then. Your the Real Fricken Heroes!
Anyway as for last afternoons show. It was Superb, Strobe light action, continously posed for cameras, Hounds of love. It was all so surreal. Better than sex. I'd do it all again.
